This is the exact lamp I use! I actually use it with light elegance products and it works perfectly! Part of why I’d gone with this lamp was because I’d read it was a good dupe for their branded lamp - and so far it’s worked great for me!

I just bought this lamp and yes, this mini SunUV Lamp, works really good. It does the job and it’s so convenient, to carry around.

Thanks for the video!! Since I was using Gelish polishes, I figured a Gelish lamp would be nice. I got it from Amazon too. I have a Gelish LED 18G light and I love it! I’ve had it for 3 years, not one problem and I use it every 2 weeks. It has fallen off the couch a couple times and I was really worried I had damaged it but it’s fine! It has a magnetic bottom detachable plate too, like the one in your video; a 5, 20, 30 second timer, a beeper when the time is up that can be silenced, and an eye shield to minimize eye exposure to the light. I’m really happy with it. It has a soft strip on top for balancing a hand while painting too. Finding gel polishes and how strong they are for my own natural nails has been the best thing I have done for myself. I like being able to do my nails any time I’d like and not have to leave my home!! Thank you again for the information!!
Oooh I LOVE that you have great things to say about the Gelish lamp. It sounds pretty fabulous! If I started out using Gelish products way back when (I began with OPI Axxium), I would have probably gone with that one too. The eye shield is such a nice perk - need to get one of those! I’m looking at investing in a Gelish lamp too. I am wondering how easy the gelish products are to remove? I recently watched a video comparing Gelish to CND polish and it seemed the Gelish was more difficult so thus harder on your natural nails?

Thank you for posting this video, i purchase a gel lamp kit from amazon ( not the one you are suggesting! ) and it created very very bad damage to my nails and Im still recovering. So this is great that you created this information because research does matter especially when you are doing your nails at home.

As i file and buff them as they grow out, I would like to buy a clear gel topper to fill in my nails so that they keep shiny until I get my nails done again! So want to buy a lamp !! Question: what timer directions do you follow if you lamp says both UV and LED? I bought the SUNUV 48W UV LED. I’ve been doing the max time but also saw your vid on things to stop doing to your nails, with over curing being one. So… I’m confused about which time to pick. Lol. Overthinking things is one of my hallmarks. 🤣

That 1st lamp she showed after she mentioned Amazon, the pink 1...I have it right now and it socks. I've been 2 hours drying 1 coat of clear gel base. Im doing a French manicure and I came to TH-cam researching whats the best for at home? NOT THAT ONE 🙅♀️ was only 10.00 but a headache 😫. Sending it back and investing more to save time. 😤 1:20

I actually watched a review about this very lamp on the nail hub channel that was very bad. This lamp was did poor in the studies only scoring an 66 compared to other models.

My nails wont dry in my lamp and it is 48W.. anybody knows? Should I by a stronger one or?😅 I even took 2 min and 30 seconds and the base was still sticky😅
Most base gel coats do not dry to the touch. After curing for the required time the polish should be tacky, but adhered to your nails. Add/cure your 2 coats of color, top coat, and then rub off the sticky layer with a cotton ball & rubbing alcohol.

And I also saw that the kit I have got, did not have the acryl liquid to the brush.. tried without but that did not work well. That was sticky! The site that made the kit said you got everything you need to make beautiful nails, but I am not sure..😂 So that is also a must I guess? 🎄😅

All my friends work has well has my husband. I am wanting to have a go of doing my own nails with the gel polishes.. l loved your video you have a lovely speaking voice. So now am here to watch and see what you can advise all us lovely ladys .one question is why are some gel polish so expensive at one site and alot cheaper at other sites . I dont want to buy cheaper nail polish if it dosent do the job. I also dont want to buy the expensive gel polishes if the cheaper ones do the same job. That lamp heats the hand up too much, it's like being in the solarium. Also the light is blinding. I wanted to love it but was disappointed

You are still using a uv lamp.. no comment. And now you are recommending a lamp you never used as a best buy.. brilliant... Maybe people who dont have children should make parenting videos because they read reviews online about what to do.. 🤷
Yikes, it’s really not that serious. I’m not forcing anyone to buy anything. It’s impossible to try every single lamp. I talk nails with hundreds of women and love to hear their thoughts on lamps and products too! I get asked for lamp recommendations ALL the time so I tried to take the legwork out of the research for anyone who is in the market …based on feedback, reviews, product details, and price points. The lamp I currently use I don’t completely love …nor is it available, so I often recommend this one and have received really great feedback! I didn’t pull my choices out of thin air. Unlike parenting a child, you can *simply return* this lamp and get your money back if you don’t absolutely love your purchase. 🤷🏻♀️
@@AmandaBellaa actually using a uv lamp is 2023 is pretty serious, with all the harm we know it does since 2011... I did try maybe 90-95% of all the lamps on the market in the last 20 years (my profession) and your recommendation is not bad for doing nails at home its a good lamp only problem is buttons are behind, no timer display and cushion takes a lot of dust sticking to the rubber and needs to be cleaned all the time it always looks messy but a new cushion can be bought separately (u get one extra white cushion in the box with the lamp, plus the pink one).. its a very nice thing you did - researched so others dont have to.. but youre right - yikes, uv lamp in 2023... Irresponsible towards yourself... There is a reason its not available anymore, youre lucky.
@@kristina4395 Much like smoking cigarettes, eating processed foods, or using tide laundry detergent… everything has a level of risk and it’s not my job to tell people how to live their lives. We all have the ability to make our own decisions based on our own levels of risk tolerance. I don’t think I’m being irresponsible or encouraging others to be either. In fact, I have another video on my channel sharing a few tips about how to protect your hands and nails while using a lamp. If my videos don’t sit well with with you, that’s ok. I encourage you to share your own thoughts & information!
@@AmandaBellaa the things u mentioned are mostly addictions, im sorry i didnt know you feel the same way about your uv lamp... Since you feel comfortable not reducing your risk of skin cell damage by 100% and skin cancer by 73-75% compared to uv lamp thats super cool! Im glad u know the risks. U are hurting nobody and giving great advice to others to invest 40$ in a Led lamp. But i can see your point with cigarettes, being stubborn and dismissive is kind of an addiction 🦋🏝️ have an awesome day 🤷
