This is the second A2 La Sirena we have created. The lower register of this scale definitely adds a new depth and mystique to the scale.
By adding 7 notes to the bottom shell of the A La Sirena, we have filled in all the cracks in the top shell from A2 to A4 making it fully Diatonic in the A Dorian minor mode.
We like to call this 'Kintsugi'
Kintsugi: The Japanese art of pouring gold into the cracks and fissures of broken pottery to not only repair the piece but to display the mend as a part of the objects beauty.
