Excellent effort by Karan to get different views on this issue. I have two questions for Mr. Thapar. (1) Why did you fail to ask her what she thinks of the 7th October massacre of Jews people ? (2) She said that Gaza is always occupied from 1948 - that's a blatant lie. Israel is not occupying Gaza from 2007 onwards. Why didn't you ask her that, what was PLO doing when Hamas was making tunnels with all the money they received instead of making schools and hospitals and desalination facilities?
She is absolutely right. Gaza was always occupied/blockaded through land, air, sea continuously by Israel since 1948. People, money, products, services could NEVER go out of or inside Gaza without strict and brutal control of Israel. If that is not absolute occupation since 1948 then one wonders what is? Let us have Pakistan control India’s air space, land, sea border and any and every Indian product, person, services, money, taxes, visa, medical/hospital visit etc should go out or inside of India only through the Pakistani control, that will make India independent, right?
Your ignorance is abundant. PLO does not even exist in Gaza for decades now. Are you not aware of the geography of Palestine, that has been occupied by the brutal Israeli regime since 1948? Do you not know that PLO exists in the West Bank which is miles away from Gaza? Even if a person/child/elderly/woman is dying out of cancer/heart attack/imminent requirement of surgery they will have to wait in line and start applying for Israeli permits which could take at least weeks if not months to move from Gaza to West Bank. PLO cannot have its administration even within West Bank which is isolated into more than 550 small ghettos/villages of Palestinians and even within West Bank, these people have to go through Israeli networks of check points which could take hours to just move 1-2 miles between two ghettos. So which administrative control of PLO are you talking about?? If the Palestinians buy and sell packet of salt inside one of the ghettos, that transaction also happens ONLY if Israel allows that transaction to happen and that tax revenue is collected by Israel and then it may allow or may not allow that tax revenue to go back to PLO or Gaza or may withhold it indefinitely, exactly like the electricity/power/fuel/food/water basically anything and everything is controlled by the Israeli state. So again, what were you asking about PLO? 😉
@@pamtam1 Reply to your Comment: FATAH party of PLO lost the election in 2006, and people of Palestine choose a terrorist organization to govern them. So, what were you expecting to happen one day !!! Another point, if you want to start with 1948, then lets give some history first. In 1947, the UK turned the Palestine problem over to the UN. UN proposed terminating the British Mandate and partitioning Palestine into two independent States. Israel was created as their leaders agreed to this, but the Arab countries did not agree. You know what they did ? They attacked Israel the very next day it was formed, declaring war. So, when you declare war on a country , if you loose what you expect to happen ? The victorious side will dictate the terms after the war. This phenomenon happened from time to time in history.

Talking isn't working.
Telegraph media is godimedia...
Does GAZA want Hamas?
Mr
HAMAS or no Hamas. PALESTINIANS don't want criminal and cunning occupation by Israel.
@@click-n-pick8133Outsiders can't decide for them. They should decide for themselves and they should talk to the Israelis and negotiate a deal where they can live side by side with respect, dignity and peace. Outside intervention has only complicated the issue and it was a total time waste
