At my mom's funeral, my MIL suddenly said, 'My son will inherit this house!' So, I took action.

Inheritances are exempt from joint ownership in a marriage. They belong only to the partner who inherited the property or money.
Apparently the in laws are idiots that do not know how inheritance works.
Even if the wife renounced the inheritance, her husband would not inherit the house from her father. It would go to the next relative in the wife's blood related family. The only way the husband could inherit it was if he was specifically named in the will. I doubt that he was. Her parents intended for their daughter to inherit the house, NOT her husband.

The writers of these stories have no idea of Western Laws and culture.

ALL these stories are painful for the persons in the USA which seems to be the target audience. You guys really need to do more research. You need to learn the definition of "Cohabitation" in the western world.

One can assume you know that because you read/watched/listened to the whole thing. I mean, if you hadn't, you wouldn't be entitled to call the whole thing boring, because you wouldn't actually know what you're talking about. You wouldn't want to make yourself look stupid, of course, so you obviously stuck around and wasted the 20 minutes necessary to decide it was boring. From where I'm sitting, it kinda looks like either it wasn't all that boring, or you are that desperate for something to do. Which kind of implies you don't have hobbies or friends to hang out with, further implying you yourself are boring. What an interesting train of thought.
Also, leaving a comment helps the channel in the algorithm. If you think it's that boring, stay quiet and don't help them. That way, you won't be giving anyone reason to dislike you for posting unnecessary and hateful comments. Being liked and having friends is actually quite nice, you really should try it sometime. I know, the unknown is scary, but even the scary things get easier with practice, I promise.
