One time I was working at mcdcks with my friend Shaun and he did something even I wouldn't do which says a lot. He and I were completing the burgers, I would put the buns in the toaster and see what needed to be started, get the box and sauce while he would finish them by putting the meat and other stuff on them. The order came through as a grilled chicken sandwich, not sure if they still serve them but it was literally the only thing that is real chicken and it takes like 10 minutes to cook it on the grill properly. We only had one left that was cooked and didn't have anymore started as we were behind. I pass the unfinished sandwich to him and he takes the chicken out of the warming drawer and accidentally dropped it on the disgusting greasy floor. Knowing that it would take another 10 minutes to complete the order he decided to pick it up and try to dust the hairs and gross specs off of it and then does the shush motion with his finger to his lips and puts it on the bun and sends it out. But to confront the people in that car is a big risk bc almost anyone with a basic background check can own a gun. They could've pulled a gun on him if they had/if they wanted to. Bro, if only everyone was as chill as you when they worked. Like, the largest problem with working my job is trying to make sure people aren't at each other's throats. Jobs aren't hard, people make them hard because of their insecurities. When I worked my first job I will admit I was kinda like Jim. However, when that happened I had an extreme case of sleep deprivation. Working 60+ hours on top of maintaining a whole house by myself so I was generally getting less than 3 hours of sleep a night and would regularly skip 3 days of sleep. Causing hallucinations, occasional blacking out for a second while doing something and such. With literally no time to talk to friends to tell me I'm being dumb and need to relax, and never having any time to do any hobbies, I just kept forcing my body until it became more inefficient at everything, taking even more time. So doing all of this caused massive stress, so many things that wouldn't make me angry, now made me angry, and it was harder to do the proper decision. Jim seemed to be 2/3 of the way there, basically the point where you start to struggle with controlling your emotions especially when stressed in a fast paced environment. However, since you're not so exhausted, you'll have the energy to start going after other people, especially in a management position. I did my job well with my first job, but I knew that school ain't going to properly teach you how to deal with emotions, and my family wasn't really around to help either, so I knew if I tried to be a manager on my first job, I would've done the exact same thing as Jim and let my emotions do stupid things. So glad I didn't be a manager right away. I've now learned mental techniques to deal with such things and I am now a manager myself, and help people stay in a good mood so they have an easy time with jobs. All I gotta say is make sure you get plenty of sleep, exercise, good diet, and have a scheduled time to relax. Do those things regularly everyday and everything in life is stupidly easy, and you can then prevent other people from strangling each other so everyone has a good time no matter what job you work = ) Also poor Miguel. The story doesn't make it sound like he was stressed, so I'm going to assume he just didn't get enough sleep that night. Honestly, half the people I worked with at fast food act like they are zombies, and it's usually lack of sleep.
Proof that the restaurant he worked at was Canes: They sell fries, chicken fingers, and toast The bags / boxes shown in the video At 0:55 the sign is similar to the canes sign and you can even sorta make out the word canes

This is like non-stop, second hand frustration, like bruuuhhhhh…I almost dipped out when the bottom of the large container started pouring out sauce. I just kept watching, hoping it would get better. But then it didn’t, it just got more and more frustrating, like I felt so bad for everyone. Like-Jim is probably so miserable because he had to practically live there day in and day out as a manager, and he seemed like a ticking time bomb, ya know? I’m just glad you’re out of there, cus I have a feeling there is no happy ending when it comes to working at that place, whether you’re working for a “Jim” or being Jim himself.
I was rinsing my mouth with water when you made one of your jokes causing me to have a burst of laughter literally shooting a cloud of vaporized water into my bathroom mirror. Loved this. Impeccable story telling and animation. Keep up the good content man ☺️
The amount of relatability in this video from also having working at Canes is insane haha!! The detail in this is so exact and similar to my experience from the kitchen, my GM being so out there in the way he ran his location, the mega-pops out of nowhere, the way sauce is pumped, & even the detail on the way they teach you to drop the bird in the damn fryer. Great video bro I was laughing the whole time xD
Ahaha dude literally these are just animations and I'm over here dying😂😂💀💀 bruh you are so effortlessly funny it's unreal you are also very talented in drawing animations!!😊👌🖤
This is great. I love the random fries lying all over the place and the splats here and there. And yeah, my first computer was a Windows 95 machine with this new thing: It was "Multimedia" which means it came with powered speakers. Which, it turned out, would pick up the order-taker at the window of the Dairy Queen up the street (this was all done via radio) and some of the stuff I heard was hilarious.
I actually used to be the assistant manager in a fast food setting 15 years ago. Its understandable that with such a position even as a shift leader, food cost is something we would have to answer to. But on the other, even then I would say this dude really needs to lighten up. I was actually the assistant manager telling shift leaders that were beneath me to pike down but i only need one hand to count how many we had that were like that. @@jay2242 it was the polo for me, i was watching this with my friend, and i'm a manager at canes, and i started realizing from the stories and the subtle hints in the background of the animation, i was like "this dude 100% is talking about Canes"
When I worked there I had a similar story. the guy I was pumping sauce with spilled the large bucket 2 times. He spilled it when it slipped off the lip and it fell out his hands. Our manager came out mad at us and sent me to go do a bathroom check while he cleaned it up. I come back around the corner after checking the bathroom and I see the exact same thing happen again. i'm getting major raising canes or zaxby's vibes from this story and the animation
It’s gotta be Cane’s but zaxby’s is possible
I'm thinking canes iv worked at canes
@@legostarkiller9252 i'm a manager at canes, im pretty positive it's one of our stores 🤣🤣
@@ashleycrittenden8305 same, i'm positive it's canes, a lot of these stories i remember myself doing as a crewmember before i got promoted
Its canes
Stumbled on one of your videos last night and then watched like 15 more! Very entertaining man, good job, I'm so glad I found them :)
Miguel needs to chill with the clumsiness.
Miguel was faded out his universe
3:34 “prime time special” hahah I love this man 😂
I love how he just says it’s a restaurant even tho it’s obviously raisin canes even tho keep up the good work love your vids
Edit: thanks for the likes 🙏
I knew that from the beginning.
cant say it because not tryna get copyright prob
@@oo7014 how tf you get copyrighted from saying a restaurants name?
@@king-qi2ks he doesn’t want to give them free promotion
@@king-qi2ks not necessarily copyright but it’s just because of legality
Saga worked at Raising Canes I can tell by the art details 😁
Lmao ya, I recognized the togo boxes, the orientation of the restaurant. Exactly like raising cane's, I worked there awhile ago, dog shit experience
and all the other comments saying the same thing
@@nicoscialdone2707 I work at raising canes right now and it's great

Pls this was hilarious😭😭 I loved the video, keep it up❤️🔥
You could say miguel was "sauced up"

I was rinsing my mouth with water when you made one of your jokes causing me to have a burst of laughter literally shooting a cloud of vaporized water into my bathroom mirror.
Loved this. Impeccable story telling and animation. Keep up the good content man ☺️

This is the entire plot of regular slow in a nutshell
Mordecai and Rigby are WAY dumber than this.
Bro i literally work there rn I was like bro this sounds hellllllllaaaaaaa familiar to my work
I just know everyone was talking about Miguel after the shift was over 🤣
THE MAN IS NOT DEAD, HE IS BACK, WHEN THE WORLD NEEDED HIM

The legend is back
I just came across your channel and I’m obsessed, I love the stories and the animation, thank you for this art piece 🥹🥹🥹
It’s always a good day when Saga uploads a new animated storytime 😌
The drawings, the script everything is top notch
Ahaha dude literally these are just animations and I'm over here dying😂😂💀💀 bruh you are so effortlessly funny it's unreal you are also very talented in drawing animations!!😊👌🖤
Amazing animation and narration. You’re a cool chill person dude. Wish you all the best
I spent years in the fast food industry. That sauce cup story hit home why I avoid it like the plague. Brought back some memories
Dude keep up the grind and stay consistent you’re content is great man. I promise you you’ll grow more. Stay well
This is great.
Watched this when it first came out and it's still one of the funniest videos I've ever seen 😂😂
As for him putting his hands on that kid, If I were him, we would have fought!
When you were actually the assistant manager
I saw the chicken fingers and the Krinkle cut fries and immediately thought “he works at raising canes”
Im prolly wrong tho lol
for real, even the layout of the kitchen in the animation and the sauce station and stuff, im so sure it's Canes
@@trissyrobertson Broo ikrr and the red uniform that Jim wears
@@jay2242 it was the polo for me, i was watching this with my friend, and i'm a manager at canes, and i started realizing from the stories and the subtle hints in the background of the animation, i was like "this dude 100% is talking about Canes"
Dang that makes so much more sense now, I live in the same state as yaga and we have a lot of canes here
18:08 the dog confirmed it for me😂
As a grown adult who has worked as a server this was hilarious. I’ve met so many Jim’s. And I have been Miguel 😅
“they fired good ol’ Jim for that one”😂😂
"give me 1 good reason why i shouldnt fire you both right now." *he did it*
You have the best sense of humor out of any TH-camr I've watched and the animations are jus the cherry on top please keep posting these 😂🙏
Miguel: man I gotta clean this sauce Jim: your FIRED!
18:06 Ah yes "how the turn tables."
Office reference lmao
Saga don't drop videos often, but when he does it's a good one
10:38 this story is literally diary of a wimpy kid levels of "this situation is quite literally a nightmare and im unable to get out of it"
Haha, the wiping the same counter over and over is relatable. You have to 'look busy' all the time even if everything's squeaky clean and prepped.
This was definitely a banger Saga🙏🏻
Jim is truly a man who works.
Can’t wait to see the “when the world needed him most he came back” and “he remembered his youtube password” comments 😂😭
And also the “he’s returned comments”

I love your stories and animations, they're so thrilling and fun!

Goodness. Your drawings are so FREAKING DETAILED! Your destined for greatness.

Our manager sent us both home.
Extra chicken finger story: ends
Me: sad
Saga: lemme cheer you up with 3 more stories. We aint done yet fam
Me: happ boi
15:15 I can see why it was so funny.
it looks like Miguel is pranking Jim by purposely pouring the sauce everywhere
Am I the only one that like once every 2 months gets bored and binge watches his content. I am happy this man exists bc he cures boredom
This video makes me cry laughing every time. no matter how many times I watch it I always end the video with tears streaming down my face
