I’m not a plumber so maybe I’m wrong but the “wax ring” crap needs to be reinvented. There HAS to be a better solution for sealing a toilet than a wax ring that might work
That flange was perfect. A low flange does not cause the wax to go bad. If the wax leaked, it was because it was not compacted. Typically, you see this with new tile jobs. Tile guys should not be setting toilets, nor should some " plumbers".
Instead of taking your shoes off get a box of weatherproof booties. You can get them in a color that matches your logo or whatever. They give you the same desired result as far as respect in the home but if the home is absolutely filthy they protect your shoes from the customers home. Plus they come in handy if there is tons of land mines in the yard keep a pair on that job just for the yard, poop slides right off them. Another thing if it’s pouring out and you have a rain coat on the booties will keep your boots dry.
I provide shoe covers for all workers who enter my home. I bought a big pack on Amazon and gladly provide. If someone refuses, they don't enter my home. Shoes off is completely fine, but I understand the need for steel toe at times. Imagine dropping a toilet on your bare foot. Respect to you working clean.

Hayyyy Boyyy : 😂 but seriously, did you know that those acorn style nuts used to fasten the toilet to the flange are supposed to be placed taper side facing down , so that it centers itself to the washer … ( same principle as in a wheel lug nut on a vehicle) hope this helps you , ps. I didn’t know till a koehler rep. did a demo for us ,20 yrs or so ago 👍

Wax rings do need to be replaced . We can argue over how long, but they do get old, they do harden up, and they do shrink.
