It’s something about “For Good”. Especially with Idina and Kristin together they really did do something special with those characters. Now yes there have been more proclaimed vocal “Powerhouses” that took on the role but it’s the raw emotion and acting talent that they brought every night that can’t be replaced. They are best to ever do it.

"How Long" Hadestown. Despite it winning best musical in 2019 I still feel like it is uber underated. Anaïs Mitchell writes bass and alto music so freaking well and "How Long" is one of the best low register duets, which is rather rare.

The fact that "Lily's Eyes" from Secret Garden doesnt have its own spot....it is probably the greatest male/male duet in musical theatre....ever, followed by "Youre Nothing Without Me" from City of Angels. Both are show stoppers in their respective shows, they both are HUGE plot moments, and written better than most.

Good call! “You’re Nothing Without Me” or “What You Don’t Know About Women” would’ve been perfect for this list!

After listening to the album for the Broadway version of Bridges of Madison County, I was shocked to see just how short-lived it was; it was only on Broadway for only 4 months?! It's mind-blowing to me that such a good show was cut so short. But hey, it won a Tony Award. I have one question, HOW HAS KELLI O'HARA NOT WON A TONY YET?!

Really? I just saw it regionally and enjoyed the story but really did not enjoy the music. The style seemed completely at odds with the story and didn't add anything to the characters or the plot for me. If anything it felt like the plot stalled so the song could happen. The 2 exceptions were 2 songs (don't even remember the names) that were sung from outside the main scene and functioned more like a movie soundtrack or ambiance.

@@ThexImperfectionist Bridges score is phenomenal. Listen to the cast album. The performance you heard mught have been bad and weak musically.JRB is my favorite composer of all time. Try lisrtening to the original cast album for " Songs for a New World"..NOT the revival.

Another great video! I especially love the top five. My own favorite is tough to decide, but I'm going with Suddenly Seymour.
I think at least one good duet left out is They Say It's Wonderful, from Annie Get Your Gun.

One of my favorites is "popular" from Wicked. The others were good but not as memorable for me.
