Keep the breathing as natural as possible when in Ma Bu, unless when throwing any punches or changing stances then it's a matter of exhaling for more external (precision) force.
@@DragonMartialArtist Can you give your View on which kinda of breathing and intentions /thoughts she has to generate such power .if you could share your view how to this dun ma breathing is done and intentions / thoughts to have to generate that much power this person is generating. Please check this and reply Part -1 1 : th-cam.com/video/zoCSKvz4nB8/w-d-xo.html explanation for her power part -2 : th-cam.com/video/eBrsJkbOs6Y/w-d-xo.html ( in this one she explains about internal conditioning, which is dun ma and does for 3 hours to 5 hours as she claimed in the video to generate such power ) Can you please check these video and explain how the breathing should be & What is the intentions / thoughts should be to visualise while being in that horse stance./mabu stance to make legs that powerful. Please Enlighten me her of technique of generating such power . Thank you.
I developed knee valgus after years of ma bu with my feet pointing directly forward. I rather go the rest of my life doing crab stance than jeopardize my legs.
Everyone is different, however most wushu athletes always have themselves training safely with specific knee sleeves and even incorporate exercises specifically for the knees in order for them to become stronger. I wouldn't risk the pain if you still experience it.
@@DragonMartialArtist No worries. I run a couple miles every other day. I cleared up the issue a long time ago after I started pointing my toes out 45° more in line with the direction of my knees without compromising stance too much. I just wanted to chime in with another perspective. Thank you for your concern, and good luck training as well.
This is the best Video i’ve seen about the Horse stance, you deserve a sub. I cant wait for more videos.

Hey man sorry for asking but what is the specific horse stance on the right side at 0:14? I’ve been looking for the specific stance all over.
Great info. In the traditional I Guess is killer than the modern one
Traditional is meant for application & Modern Wushu is a performance art.

Yes, it's "Hero's of the East" with Gordon Liu
