The Spaceworld 99 demo nearly had this version of the title screen. Just for perspective, the final version of this song was converted on the same day that the ROM was built.

For some reason, I prefer this version over the original Gold and Silver title screen.

Actually this came much later in development than you might think; conversion happened less than a month before the Spaceworld 99 event, and only two and a half weeks before the Spaceworld 99 build.
