Isn't it funny how you can feel so much for someone you've never met. I found Basia's videos just a few months ago and very quickly became a big fan of hers. She had a real talent for making you feel as though you were right there with her on the beach. I will miss her and her "I'll take it!" every time she found a coin or some other treasure. This is a total shock to all of us in the MD community. I loved and enjoyed all of Basia’s adventures. And to think about my trip to the east coast this winter to hunt with Basia would have been totally awesome. I’ll be keeping her close to my heart every time I’m out hunting the beach for lost treasures. Basia will be missed and I pray for her family going through this difficult time. It has been awhile since something has affected me as much as the loss of Basia. It is funny how one becomes friends with someone on TH-cam, but I grew to anticipate her new videos and comments and some interaction through comments. When she finally showed me her wind chime which I kept inquiring about, it made my day. Basia, you will be missed!
I can not express how sad i am right now....... on cold rainy days here in Oregon it was nice to watch one of her videos and hear her happy voice ........and the next time i go out hunting I will make sure and say i'll Take it! You will greatly be missed. ;-(

I think of her every time I see a hand scoop. There was no way to hide her love of the metal detecting hobby and life itself! I still look at her channel often, never met Basia but always enjoyed her videos. I am sure her family will grieve her loss forever, and even praying she is in a happier place, doesn’t fix the pain. I discovered Basia's video's about a year ago. At the time of watching them, I had no idea of her passing. I'm so sorry to hear this. She radiated as an amazing person, she showed to appreciate the soothing beauty of nature and the simple joy in doing what you love. I really liked her, although she was mostly just hands (with very nice nails!) and a warm voice to me. To see her pictures now, is very touching.
