Here you could see how old he was getting . Still an amazing physical clown. Yes he did the same act (give or take) everytime he appeared on tv but it was so funny. May his memory ever be honoured.
Hilarious. Physical comedy at its absolute best. Hard to believe that this is a rehearsed act, it looks so spontaneous, as if he actually getting tangled and twisted up. That's what makes it so amazing. RIP George. Your comedy and performances will live forever.
One of the most entertaining and hilarious guys on the stage ever. I well recall seeing him on the old Palladium show in the 60's and laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. What a guy!
Inimitable...
Ken’s only got mention my “chuckle muscle” and I’m hooked and laughing. Was George the bloke who had a routine using a sticky toffee paper he couldn’t shake off? I cried and laughed with aching frustration as he performed that one.
Count Arthur Strong is so funny. What starts out as gently entertaining slowly gets under your skin and before too long you are paralytic with laughter. You can hear the audience going down the same route as well.
Absolutely wonderful.
George was like Ken in being completely unique.
Both now sadly missed.
Absolutely! Talent attracts Talent!
I can never tire of this man's genius so precious.
Thank you so so much!
