DHI | Nickle Plate Rd. BC 2018

Filmed in 2018 with a very early version GoPro.
Yah, I know the footage is not stellar but it is not meant to replace the experience of riding this. The intent is to provide you with enough visual to decide if you would like to add this to your list.
It is not that difficult but would be greasy in places if it had rained hard and some of the forested areas might retain the water for longer.
The screen shot is from Teneighty23 from a blog "Best non-paved routes in BC" in advrider forum.

Agree, this is a spectacular ride I never get board with. I prefer going down vs up. At the 5 minute mark in the video, there is a pullout before the cattlegrid which has a great lookout of the valley. Of you are in Hedley, check out the little coffee shop- well worth the visit… thanks for the video

Thank you for the intel. I will stored that in what memory banks I have remaining and try and stop there.
I almost had a chance to ride it again two weeks ago but opted for the backroad from Princeton to Summerland. Part of the reason was, I just did not have enough time to do Nickle Plate in both directions given the time in the evening and desired destination. I hope to get out there later this summer to enjoy it once again.
Oh yeah. The coffee shop intel also registers highly.
