由於圖形位置的原因，這是不可能的。新加坡在早期因為多元種族而有理由獨立，但台灣沒有理由。如果台灣獨立，這可能看起來像是種族分裂。
再這樣下去新加坡很快要被美國對付了。
对付新加坡对美国有什么好处？
新加坡充当沟通桥梁，呼吁大家保持理性，这既符合新加坡利益，也符合大家的利益。老美为什么要对付新加坡？
I used to admire him a lot. He's one of our excellent foreign minster. However, after he lost the election, him like any other government officials start to play the role of the "china expert". Its easier to earn the RMB by saying the good things of China. and yes the western media like to magnify areas of human rights and democratic ideologies which the CCP is obviously lacking. But the reality is also that china is not being "misunderstood" This China now is starting to become assertive after it grew in strength over the past decades. Whether its the national security law, or its 9 dash line in South China Sea, or threathening Canada or Australia with trade tariffs when they say something that the CCP dislike. This world need to improve, not for someone to fear speaking up against someone in power, whether its Putin or Xi Jin Ping. Until they change and start to rely on international law to resolve disputes or allow criticism of their own regime, the world will never accept communist China.
To avoid exposing yourself as a liar and propagandist, please do NOT use CCP. The proper term is CPC. When you talk about human rights and international law, are you not aware that the US and its NATO allies are completely backing a genocide in Gaza by Israel that is in complete violation of INTERNATIONAL LAW. When the UNSC votes for an immediate ceasefire, the US continues to block any effort for peace. The ICJ and ICC has condemned these crimes against humanity and ordered Israel to stop murdering Palestinians through violence and starvation. Are you not aware that the US and western allies destroyed Iraq, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Yemen through illegal military force? Were you not aware that Canada kidnapped the CFO of Huawei based on lies about the company violating unilateral and illegal sanctions? It was Australia that was first hostile to China on orders of the US by joining AUKUS and planning to spend nearly 400 billion to build nuclear submarines against Chinese "aggression"? They were going to protect their trade with China from China. How many Chinese military bases surround the US to counter the 400 US bases surrounding China? If you consider trade tariffs a threat, do you know that American sanctions is an act of war? The US is sanctioning 30% of the planet. The US does NOT follow international law but rather use the Rules-based International Order which is unwritten, not approved, randomly applied, excludes America and its allies.

Evidently the speaker can NOT give up his inclination as an offspring of Chinese Culture and Chinese heritage, despite the fact that he was an Foreign Minister of Singapore.
Singapore has been very frank about this kind of discussion where culture,race,religion is here to stay whether we talk about it or not. Look up one of the Lawrence Wong talk (before he is Pm, very pragmatic actually)
Look, name me one Western country that isn’t tied to their ancestral roots despite having different nationality. South African white? Even Australia still swore loyalty to British Monarch. Muslim towards the Islam and Jew having tried to reinvent themselves in many different identity in Russia, America, Israel but at the end of the day…always come back to Jewish identity. Why should George Yeo reject his Chinese ethnicity? In Singapore and Malaysia we are encourage to be proud of our own ethnicity.
Many ethnic Chinese who embraced Westernisation by emigrating to the West realise the grass is not always greener on the other side and Western culture is not as superior as they thought. The rapid rise and development of China is proof of that.
