I’m going camping at Cudgegong this week. Pretty keen to fish freshwater, I’m pretty new to it. Went to bcf got all the gear I’d need. I live on the coast at newcastle, grew up saltwater fishing my whole life.
Good luck out there, it’s a great place. It’s got a massive population of Golden perch and a few Cod as well.
