    I love my PK360. It’s a bit more of an investment, but well worth it. The fuel efficiency is amazing and once the temp is dialed in you can smoke for hours. Thanks for the nice review.

    I'm getting my first "old" PK grill and I love the history that you provided here... Thank you! It's funny considering that the most history I've seen in this video didn't even come from an American! Glad you appreciate it all!

      Hey, thanks for you comment and congrats on getting your first PK grill! When you say ‘old’ PK grill, is it a pre-owned classic version? Whichever, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.🤠👍

    I've bought many a grill through the years. Made my way up to the PK original. Loved the original so much, I bought the PK360. Absolutely love it! I do love my original pk, and thought the 360 couldn't do better, I bought the 360 at twice the price of the original and couldn't be happier.
    The 360 is the only grill I've used for 3 years running. If I would've bought it first, I wouldn't have bought any others.

      360 is made in CHINA

    • @markiskool

      @@mdees88 It is. I went back to the original. It is a much better cooking tool.

      @mark I have an original and I bought a 360 right when they came out without knowing it was made in China. It's nice, but I almost never cook on the 360 anymore. I almost exclusively use the original. I like how easy the original is to clean and the fact that I can cook on it several times before needing to clean out the ash.

    Any difference between PK 360 and PK 300? I’m assuming size difference?

    • @kiwicowboybbq
      @kiwicowboybbq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the PK360 is slightly bigger. The PK300 is based on the original classic design with the clam shell hinge at the end. The PK360 hinge is on the length of the capsule and has a different venting system, a single pedestal stand and base.

    PK360 Is an awesome grill by itself, however the stand with such small wheels could use reengineering. Difficult to move around, especially in grass.

    • @bassman7496
      @bassman7496 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is one of my concerns, since I would have to move it around on a gravel driveway, I would leave it in my front yard next to the kitchen but I don’t want a dirt bag to steal a 800 dollar grill! My other concern is some people saying after 5 plus hour cook the bottom vent is covered in ash, that would irritate me!

    To every comment in here about them being made in China, I'm assuming then you all have Samsung phones and not the iPhone correct? I highly doubt it. Even PK's biggest competitor the Weber Kettle had some models made in China. Corporations use Chinese manufacturing, it's literally been a thing since the 80's.

    • @redstone5149
      @redstone5149 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kiwicowboybbq …do the American designers go to China and make these? I think not. Therefore, Chinese manufacturing quality is implemented. That equals junk.

    • @kiwicowboybbq
      @kiwicowboybbq  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@redstone5149 There would be no reason for the designers to be directly involved in the casting process in China unless they were also overseeing quality control which I’m sure PK engages in.
      Everything about my experience using the PK360 disqualifies your blanket statement that Chinese manufacturing equals junk. Nothing at all junky about my PK360.

      For many people it DOES matter where a product is manufactured. For me it did matter, so when I bought the PK360 a couple of years ago I was extremely disappointed that it is made in China. Please note that PK does everything to hide this information, going so far as proudly present the thermometer (as it is the ONLY part made in USA on this grill).

    • @kiwicowboybbq
      @kiwicowboybbq  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s no secret the PK360 is manufactured in China. A little research will reveal that.
      American designed and Chinese manufactured - I’m ok with that.
      Of course it would have been nice for PK to continue their heritage by manufacturing in Arkansas but I guess it comes down to economics.
      As is the case with many American and global companies - a lot of manufacturing takes place abroad.
      I’m a huge fan of the PK original and would love to own one. In the mean time I won’t be swapping my PK360 anytime soon.

      @@kiwicowboybbq hehe, supporting Italy is fine. Supporting an authoritarian regime is not. Of course I’m overly dramatic. I lived in China for over ten years. It forever changed my mind and taught me the importance of having values. Values that guides me. Quality over quantity, ethics over greed. Never feed your enemy.

    • @kiwicowboybbq
      @kiwicowboybbq  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @openworked, I don’t consider myself to be supporting an authoritarian government. I possibly don’t own a single electronic item which doesn’t contain a Chinese manufactured component. I’m not about to give up my iPhone, MacBook, TV, or the German vehicle I drive which might have a Chinese manufactured component. I appreciate your point of view and personal conviction but it’s a very high bar to set. Even my adidas trainers are made in China - darn it! Ha ha
