yoo thank you for the shout out! glad youve been enjoying the videos. its important to identify changes in intention and goals in creative endeavors, because perspectives can change without even realizing it consciously. ive really tried to accept the idea that i dont have control of the flow of the river, all i can do is control my sails and hope for the best. i get caught up in metrics myself even though i know i shouldnt, but its so hard not to! i got a lot of insight from the video regarding being a content creator vs full time creators, because i also have a regular job that i need to pay my bills. im definitely going to think about the "kid" version of myself more often making content and art in the future!

This community is literally the reason I keep going. It’s not the biggest on the internet, but that’s never been my goal. I would 100% say if you have any interest in sharing your work just do it 🙌🏾

The fuckin tension that immediately dropped the minute I heard the words "how I used to think about youtube" EDIT: After watching the video, I wanna say that I think you should definitely move forward with creation-focused/etc type of content. I found your channel from your Rags to Riches series, which I feel like we can all admit that it was an impressive af first project for this channel. And while I love every episode of both seasons, my wife and I both think that the first season was stronger, and we feel like the biggest reason for that was bc there was this central direction the entire time (rags to riches) that you were able to use to build an entire story and world around. The second season is good, and I still love every update, but it does feel like it lacks that natural motivation that the first season had, just out of the first being something that had a definitive start, and a definitive end (again, rags to riches). I feel like doing the more of the stuff you've mentioned could open a lot of avenues for making good content since it'll also have that sense of direction that has worked in the past, and can also introduce a lot of fresh material at the same time. Love this channel, and looking forward to everything it's gonna be putting out
