Played against you Jamie in 1989 and 1990 at bogan high school . Selvie brook our glass back board in warm ups in 1990 Must say you were the best high school player I had ever seen and followed your game also in LSU , glad you doing good
Indeed he was. .....if it wasn't for injuries, there is no telling how good Randy Livingstone could have been. ..blew out his knee and broke his kneecap the following year.
Used to wonder why he didn't go to the NBA, first male athlete I heard of with the same name as me, & always rooted for Brandon/LSU... Except if they ever played UNLV or Syracuse lol
In the 90s if you played basketball you went to King or Simeon. If you played football you went to St Rita or Mt Carmel. And King by far, BY FAR, Had the best gear-warmups/unis/sneakers. Loved your shootong shirt w/that badass Jaguar on back. Sonny had tall style, loved Coach. May he RIP.
@@igorslocks - Baltimore's Dunbar Team is the best High School team ever assembled and they were all Charm City natives. Baltimore is a small city with a population of maybe 650,000 while Chicago and NYC has an upward of 3 million and 8 million people.
@@1300mikehoward Yeah that Dunbar team that got the ESPN 30/30 Treatment was most definitely otherworldly. And I get what you're saying about population breakdown but in Chicago it's really West Side/South Side breakdown (North side is soft and doesn't rate)& it really used to be individual neighborhoods vs each other. And if I'm being honest you have to throw in some West Suburban teams(like Proviso schools) & South Suburban teams(Thornton, Bloom, etc). The North Side can be disregarded and that's where the high population density areas are, so all told Chicago still has more numbers to draw from than Baltimore but it's not as egregious as it may seem off the top. But man I would have loved to see that Dunbar squad play, they most definitely belong in top 5 HS teams of all time. And DMV is criminally underrated when it comes to football talent too, St Francis is gunning for IMG, Meter Dei, etc. And I love to see it, because if the kids want to put in the work they should be allowed the chance to prove their rank at the highest level. Stay up🐕🦺🏈🏀
The days. I moved from West Side of Chi K Town to Mississippi. I remember watching the city games on WGN along with DePaul Notre Dame Flyin Illini with a few Bradley games. Tilton Park where I balled at.
Jamie who was the best player you played against in High School? Best High School player i remember was Kenny Anderson. Me and Kenny are the same age from the same area in NY. I remember seeing Kenny play in High School and he was incredible.
A great program....epic battles with Robeson & Simeon.....I still debate with guys about that goaltending call at the end of the game vs R.I. in 88...I saw that game live but still get into debates
Being a Razorback fan in the 90’s.. you definitely didn’t F with LSU!! But I hated when dude got the ball while we were pressing!! Jamie Brandon would take that B-t-h 94 ft coast to coast!! 40 min of hell stopping dude from going coast to coast!!
