Colin Mitchell, a legend. My dad met him in Inverurie when he was an MP.
Mitchell was a warrior in the true Scottish mould
Cant believe i found this...........i was named after Colin Mitchell. He was a family friend. Sadly i never got to meet him. I was born in the year this was film clip was made.
Always remember never forget 🏴 🇬🇧
and they did get the chop 2 years later, only to be reformed again then chopped for good in 2006

Stirling is the county town in the historic county of Stirlingshire in Scotland.
Stirlingshire disappeared in 1975 and became the major part of Central Region.
I joined up on Stirling ACIO 😅

My dad was one of the pipers here. Served under Col. Mitchell.
Now we have the ROYAL REGIMENT OF SCOTLAND. All the old Regiments are history.
Extraordinarily smart turnout. Too bad standards have slipped so much.
