A funny fact about Dmitry Kim: He worked as an audio engineer at the studio where the band recorded their albums, but he had never met the members before joining the group.
    Tanya & Lena performed together:
Infected Rain feat. Jinjer - Me Against You (БРФ-2013 live)

today I spoke to my friend from Berlin on the phone for 4 hours and he was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago,
and had to spend a lot of time in hospital because of it, and he also gave me this feeling > you grow through pain.......................................
lovely greetings from the german musician & thanx for your very entertaining Jinjer reactions

Hello from Alabama my friend. I'm sorry to hear about your friend.
In the From Nothing video Roman had a rare comment about going thorough a ton of shit, and Eugene said it was the amount of shit they've gone through together that gives them the reservoir of tenacity and also creativity that they draw upon so fruitfully.
May we all take inspiration from these virtuosos and transmute our own shit to gold!

Jinjer in their breakout, matured and poised to explode. Adding Vlad pushed them into their current creative phase, but they really needed this raw power in their reportoir.

Fashionably late to the party. This is what you call old school Jinjer groove metal core which is my favorite Jinjer core! Sounds like their new stuff is gearing up to be back to some metal core which puts a smile on my face 😃

I can't wait for the new album. I'll buy it and ENDEAVOR to muster the inner strength to NOT listen to it, so I can react to the tracks as Jinjer drops them on YT.

This song is back in their live rotation. Opened their set from a few days ago in Romania with this song. The chorus in this song gets me every time, which is more than a lot of times at this point. Roman's tone during the chorus and both guitars going higher/brighter along with Tati's voice is particularly catchy in this song. It just floats.
Always interesting to hear a song that's closer to the more traditional verse-chorus-verse-chorus rock structure from Jinjer. I have always liked that they have songs like this to weave into their more proggy stuff (which I love the most). They have been a great band for a long-time and continue to push themselves. Cheers.

    • @VocalCitizen
      @VocalCitizen  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Well I DO love both a traditional headbanger and a proggie smorgasbord. That's why I already LOVE LOVE LOVE Jinjer.

Hey Deb! Good timing on this reaction. The other day Eugene posted a short video of himself practicing this song for the upcoming tour. On Saturday cell phone vids were posted of them playing it live at a festival in Europe for the first time in 5 years, apparently. It's a banger, and one of the first few videos of theirs that I ever saw. I fell in love with Tati's little smile right away. How she goes right from the smile to the roar. Epic!
They'll likely be opening with this song when we see them in a few weeks! Just fkn sayin!
You're getting to be an expert now. :) You recognized Dmitriy.

Great reaction choice! In my opinion, King of Everything is the bridge between "Baby Jinjer" and their breakout into more widespread and worldwide Jinjer exposure. Can we please all agree that Tati is a poet and storyteller more so than a lyricist and singer? Yes, she IS a phenomenal vocalist/singer, a generational talent, but what sets her apart and above so many others is her ability to to tell/perform as story and the musicians of Jinjer are all trememdous at that and it gives them the "Jinjer Sound" and "Jinjer doing Jinjer things" that we all know and love!
