I splurged today and bought potato chips!! Not name brand but I work hard for my money and they sometimes help when i don't want to peel potato for a side starch dish, lol! Empty nester here.

I hate it too but in all honesty it shows Brookes kindness and respect. Most people will see weak- I see love, patience and kindness when she does it. She doesn’t carry herself with an attitude you can tell she’s just a good woman.

It's good to see that you splurge once in a while, especially during the holidays. And if Ryder needed a new coat, that's not a splurge. You don't have to share any of this on TH-cam, but you do and I'm grateful. Let the complainers go pound salt. They're not putting what they buy online. If they did, you would probably find that they are spending 3 or 4 times what you are, at least. Plus, your kids love a lot of this stuff and they seem like good kids. So that makes it worth it.
My wife and I used to go to Sam's once a month. We took advantage of good deals and stocked up on bulk items.
I can't wait to see you doing the chocolate covered cherries. It's so good to have a stash of batteries on hand for Christmas and emergencies.
Oh my gosh, your haul included a jacket, Thanksgiving dinner items, Christmas gifts, Batteries, Hot Hands, and TP? Household items can definitely add up faster than food items. You did a lot of protein items, too. That's dang good!

That is a good amount for all you got!! The Maraschino Cherries 🍒 remind me of my grandma when I was a kid she always made Chocolate Covered Cherries at Christmas ⛄!

I Have never seen those pineapple spears they look delicious.
It is SO EASY to make ur own popcorn like that. Just pop ur popcorn, add melted chocolate chips. I also add coconut ,goji berries and walnuts. U can add anything u want to this. Use as much or as little chocolate chip it's u like. White chocolate chips can also be used. This IS SOOOO GOOD. Try it folks. U won't be disappointed..As always ur friend from Ontario Canada
My mom used to make the best cherry lemonade with the juice from those cherries!

Great job! I just noticed that you have the Sunshere as part of the city skyline. I work at Children's hospital so I see it going to work everyday. I love when the sun is shining on it and it's reflecting it. Gives me a moment of joy before going in sometimes.

Some food budget vloggers have major ‘systems’ and it feels like you have your routines AND that you go with the flow-it’s both.

That drizzled Popcorn is AWESOME. I buy my husband's Moon Pies at Sam's. He eats one everyday.
My son made the best chicken tacos the other day with two cans of chicken. I couldn't stop praising how good it tasted.
Would love that recipe. 😍 So many of us have canned goods in our pantry and it's always great to get recipes that go along with them.
@@teatimeontablemountain9205 he said he used two of the 12.5 oz cans of chicken, a taco seasoning packet with some extra chili powder, and he added a can of black beans, a can of corn, and a can of green chiles (7 oz. larger one, but I think the 4 oz. would be okay, too). He's very good at seasoning to taste. I think it was really how excellent the chicken and green chiles tasted together with that flavor profile that made it very nice. We even had left overs. The first night I had a burrito with fixings, the second night I used it like a dip with some corn tortilla chips.

The churros and members Mark chicken sandwiches are some of my favorites! The buns aren't great but you can always sub fresh ones and save the ones from the sandwiches for bread crumbs. You like a lot of the same things that I do. Great job Brooke,and you'll have to let us know how the pie for Mamaws house was. My Aunt always brings their giant pecan one to our family dinner.

A use for the hand warmers. I've cut my heat back (by choice), but not fond of the initial coldness of the sheets, so I put one in a heat reflective cover & keep myself warm during the coldest nights. Many times 2 of "spent" ones can be reactivated to warm up the bed 🛌..

I have to do the in store pickup to have my order under $200 and that was the case BEFORE prices skyrocketed. I prefer Costco as well, but it's doubly bad because no option to pick up LOL I appreciate that you continue to share real life despite the jerks.

Right now Sam's gas is currently 60 cents less than our local gas stations.

Have you seen the battery daddy? It's a case that holds multiple variations of batteries and has a tester! I think I saw them in lowes last time but I believe they are also online and walmart. Batteries not included.
Sometimes convenient food is part of momma's self care😂 there are days that don't have enough hours to get all the things done, or you just want fast food without the fast food prices, and that is what these hauls are for.. I'm glad I don't see the negative Nancy comments, cause I don't like that and I can be mean right back😂😂
Don’t be apologetic about a Sam’s Club haul. I watch some TH-camrs who do this several times a month. You’re very frugal in so many ways that you’ve save so it all works out. I’m Team Dusty. I still haven't picked up my Sam's membership. I take an elder to pick up her order, so will do that soon. I'll only buy 2x year ($$'s saved for it), so will buy the snacks or what ever I want!

You deserve a break. Picking up quick items with a family you need the quick meals. I do that when I do monthly shopping. Sometimes prices have gone up and then I cook the next day just to have some quick meals for the month. Never explain the why.

We do monthly delivery from Sam’s Club and it is only $8 for delivery and always tip driver. They won’t delivery like rotisserie chicken, we do a lot of shipping too. Free for plus member. I don’t think $344 is much these days , you have a large family. We also had this pie for $8.99. It was delicious. I like their lemon cake but they were out. Good job . We appreciate everything that you do.

Sams keeps my freezer full ... go on Wednesdays or Thursdays for discounts on meat, or buy by the "case" for an even better deal (24hour notice needed though)

OMG my 15 almost 16yo granbrat is as tall as me!! he's shot up 3-4" since sept, his almost 12yo cousin has also hit a growth stage and is taller than his 5'6 mom! they bought him uniforms for school in July, they didnt fit when school started in Aug and now the uniforms they got in October are over his ankles..... Being single I only get pantry/emergency canned foods at Sams, paper goods I raid one of the kids, the roll of paper towels they go thru in a week lasts me over a month.. I primarily go there for gas because its usually 15-30cents cheaper a gallon
You really do not have to explain yourself!! Also convenient is fine during all the busy times or whenever you really feel under the weather! Also let me say your boys are growing and they do deserve some snicks!! It’s not like you don’t really are not frugal all the time. You’re a great mom and wife!! That being said I hope y’all enjoy Thanksgiving at grandma’s house!

Schedules for kids activities and school and hub's work made it hard to go bc we had to fit everyone in the van and then didn't have space for food lol

Yeah I buy a lot of stuff from Sam’s club potato chips trash bags dog food cheese grapes my pork tenderloin certain things I always get from there my bottled tea some spices the pancake mix sugar and flour and rice when they have the instant rice and mushrooms I always buy from Sam’s Club And I get what you’re talking about about the potato chips the 50 count that box of the small bags of Lays who is now 1897 three months ago they were 1397 so yes everything is going up but if I see something on sale I’ll grab it

I visit our local Sam's club 2-3 times a month. The things I regularly buy are cheaper in bulk vs buying at the regular grocery. stores.

You should start biying more at Sams than the convenient stores, i have noticed that you pay the same amount or more on the items on convenient stores..
Im a costco shopper and that 10 lbs of pancake mix its $7.99 at Wally world is the same price and they call it family size but is half of the costco bag. I know is just one item to name but you do save a lot and last longer too.

Hey I get it got one up on you the jars that I brought a maraschino cherries with that size and I made 56 dozen chocolate covered cherries and vigorous colors including white chocolate because a friend of mine’s husband didn’t like milk chocolate yeah and I gave them all away for Christmas gifts one year
be careful wit that salad, the last time I bought the southwest, my dressing, of all things, went bad and I didn't realize until I served my family! Luckily, I still had a pack of the maple Dijon with apples and I switched it. I won't be buying the southwest one any time soon.
