Thanks to everyone watching! Hit me up in the comments and I'll respond as I can. Don't judge too hard. This was one of the fastest sculpts I've ever done- mostly just for educational purposes. Also, I know ads are annoying. Not as annoying as ducking the landlord tho! Or sculpting Chain mail...heck with chain mail.
I genuinely never got a notification or anything for the last video. I'm not even sure if it was in my subscription feed
@@ailestriker9888 Yeah I was told that from a bunch of people actually. Might have been some kind of flag by YT since it’s marked paid promotion? Idk- I always wonder the point of subscription at that point .
Thanks Sculpture Geek really enjoying your videos! You put a lot of work into your videos. It doesn’t go unnoticed 💪
And i really learn a lot. Thanks leadership. I am willing to learn more.
Hey man! I just wanted to say Thank You!
I watch your videos for more than 6 years repeatingly and u always were a enourmous inspiration !
I do not sculpt but just seeing someone that good at what he does is inspiring 👏🏻👏🏻
I guess you’re doing well having sponsors like nintendo, riot and so on bit still i dont get how your videos aren’t viral like VIRAL
Anyways i never commented because i just dont do - but now with that invitation i thought i give it a shot
Keep up the good work ! And all the best to you
I might havent watched the video entirely yet, but i just wanted to thank you by all the work you do to entertain us, the way you manipulate the clay and do such awesome sculptures with it is just awesome to watch, keep the great work man!
It's my pleasure and an honor to have your view :) Cheers!
Don't let the algorithm get you down. We all know your true value to the community. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Love seeing your art!
Haha! No worries, friend! It was mostly just a joke. Even my girlfriend laughed at it. I expected both of these last videos to do poorly. I don’t normally do ad reads so I figured they wouldn’t go over well. People see Raid and they just skip. It’s all good tho. Gives me a chance to connect with my real core audience. I’m already on to the next. Should have another video out in a few days. I really need to be a little more consistent here- just tough to put all my eggs in this basket because this platform is anything but. Sure is fun to make content here tho 😅 Thanks for your support and stay tuned 😃
I may hate Raid but man I can't get enough of your sculpting talent
Thank you very much! Yeah- sponsorships can be tricky. I feel like it works well with Raid just because I'm a commercial sculptor so it's no different than someone having me sculpt their character. Of course they have a product that they want to promote so unfortunately there's no getting around me having to read the ad but, at least I was able to take the opportunity to sculpt a cool character and share some info to help someone get started sculpting. I super appreciate your comment and view. Thanks again for watching :)
Always love the humor and skill on display in your videos. Thank you for doing what you do!
Thanks bro! Cheers! 🙏😁
I love seeing people adding non-clay materials to the sculpts, its super crafty and I love seeing it! yet another sculpture geek banger
Your videos are always the most exciting to see pop up in my subscriptions. Your sculpts, editing, humor etc. all hit the spot every time.
Man! You know someone is good at what they do when they can give a masterpiece like Galek away to their friend Mike!
Haha! Maybe I should just start giving these away to subs. Y’all would have to pick them up tho. They’re not light lol. Especially these wed clay ones 😅💪
you make it look so incredibly easy 😭. good job man, appreciate the good content
Thank you! I hope it helps at least someone to try and get started. A.I. Be takin over! Lol Thanks for watching :)
Your previous video is the whole reason why I subscribed! I love your work and how you edit and talk to the camera. I was so excited to watch this one! Keep 'em comin' :D
Thanks so much! Already on to the next 😁🙏
Thank you so much for all of your effort. Not only is your art just impeccable, but your personality shines and you’re so entertaining whilst being so informative, and your editing is always on point. So thank you!
Thank you so so much. Im actually a super shy person irl. Funny how that sort of goes out the window when I film myself. Super appreciate the kind words and comment! Thank you for watching 🙏😊
The video was awesome as always ! You are the main reason I started sculpting, I have a lot of fun, lot of failures but your videos are a source of inspiration. Can't wait to watch your next one !
This makes my day, man! Thank you so much! Happy sculpting and there’s more on the way!
I always appreciate the cinematic feel of your videos. Great work!
Thanks man! I have a lot of fun with the edits. Almost as much as sculpting. I wish I could just do both faster 😅
Too bad your previous video got so little views. That was such a stunning build. Hope the view count picks up again!
Personally, as just a person who is definitely not a sculptor, even the "parts that could be better or don't look good" look amazing. The way you manipulate clay to look like cloth is awesome. TH-cam should let more people know about that.
Thank you so much that's very kind :) Yeah I imagine a lot of it has to do with Raid and the fact that you have to put the "sponsored/paid" tag on the video. Sometimes it's just the way it goes though. I don't let it stop me. Always try to put my best foot forward. You never know who's watching and hopefully this info is helpful to someone starting out. I would have paid a ton of money for even this type of content when I was starting. It was before TH-cam existed.
@@SculptureGeek My pleasure! And I'm happy it doesn't get you down. I'm sure there are people out there who (could) use your videos as an example on how to be better at crafting!
Amazing work! Not just the Sculpt... but your videos are so fun to watch. So I watch it once to just enjoy the video and one more time to soak in all the sculpture tips aaaand one more time just for fun!
You’re such an inspiration for anyone interested in sculpting, thank you for sharing your process!
It's actually really cool that you use other materials and match it in color with your clay to save time and add interesting texture!!
Thanks Joyce! Yeah sculpting just takes so much time, anytime you can use a shortcut, why not. It can be sort of tricky though. If things aren't nearly perfect, using a found object can really spoil things. I think more often, I find myself having to fabricate things from other harder materials to then add in to a sculpt.
As me as a 13 year old seeing sculpting and drawing for most of my life you've inspired me to do irl sculpting instead of 3d sculpting inside of a computer. This looks way more fun
That’s awesome! It can be beneficial to do both. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help. Feel free to message me at any time, my friend! Happy sculpting!
You have nowhere near as many viewers and subs as you deserve dude, you're one of the most talented channels I've seen on youtube. Keep being creative and awesome cuz cuz you are absolutely amazing!
Thank you my friend! Im gonna keep hacking away here. I love sculpting and editing too much to quit. Maybe it will catch on one day. Until then, i’m still having fun so it’s all good. Super appreciate you! Cheers 😃
really enjoyed this, your last, and in general all of your videos. i'm not into raid but i also watch your videos just to see you work (and you gotta take care of you re: ads). thanks for such informative and entertaining videos, even before you started really speaking to the camera your videos have been fun to watch and your talent is awesome. love your channel.
I appreciate that! Thank you so much! I really like doing things this way. It's much more interesting for me and helps to foster a community. Also, I like to help people learn about sculpting instead of what feels more like "look at how great I am" which was never the intention.😅
@@SculptureGeek absolutely! I'm glad that you're feeling good about the type of videos that you make now, it really shows through that you are enjoying what you're doing because you are not only making awesome sculptures, you also insert your sense of humor and personality into the videos which makes them fun to watch (even before you started doing videos this way your editing has always been so good that the videos are super engaging). You definitely come off as someone who is showing the joy of sculpting in an educational way &making what you do seem approachable which is not an easy combination to strike and you do a great job. 👍
Always enjoy watching your sculpting videos. I think the tutorials are an added bonus since myself being an amateur sculptor I try to use a lot of your videos for inspiration. One thing I would love to see is more having different topic tutorials such as: learning to sculpt drapery, adding skin textures, or even learning about proportions. stuff like that! I know it would probably take numerous videos to fit i. And can definitely be time consuming but i guess that more of a long term plan. Keep up the great work
Thank you! I super appreciate the recommendations! Keep them coming. I have been thinking about doing some more bite sized content that doesn't require sculpting an entire piece. Working on getting faster with content and putting more out. Thanks for watching :)
Crazy awesome, what an artist!
Super amazing artwork as always. I really enjoyed seeing you create this brilliant artwork!
Thank you so much 😀 That means a lot to hear. Happy that anyone wants to watch while I toil away on this nonsense lol!
I always get so damn excited to see your videos! Don't care what you make so long as you're making something🔥 keep it going and let's hope the complete revival of sculpting happens soon!
Thanks friend! Means a lot! I just try to make what I would want to watch. Trying to get faster lol that’s the struggle. More on the way tho! Thanks again or watching 😃
@@SculptureGeek yeah its a fine line of being fast but keeping the quality too aint it? I love your style of videos, throwing in some awkward comedy haha nothing better! No worries though here for the long run! 🔥🔥
I absolutely loved this. I always (in the back of my mind) thought it would be fun to try one day. I personally work with garage kits (only as a hobby and in a way smaller scale) so I love seeing how you use your tools or found objects, in case it could help me in the future. I would absolutely watch you sculpt a certain part in detail (cloth folds, a focus on eyes, a focus on hair, etc.) if you ever wanted to do smaller videos once in a while. I appreciate the level of your camera work and editing too. It takes so much longer than the average person expects to put out a video of this calibur, so thank you again for sharing your skills with us!
Thanks for watching! I started out getting into garage kits, then I customized a few things and once I started learning to just scratch build and sculpt, I was hooked- almost 18 years ago now but I still love doing it just as much. Granted I don’t put near the amount of work into these youtube pieces but that’s mostly for my own mental health lol! I think some more focused content would be good. I really want to just get a few more “working with X material” or starting sculpture vids out just so I can refer people to them instead of trying to write back novels of sculpting principles lol. At the very least, I plan on discussing each sculpt from here on out. I really like doing videos in this way as opposed to the long drawn out montages. It’s more fun for me and just answers people’s questions more. Anyway, thanks for watching f and happy sculpting of you pick it up! Also If love to see some progress so feel free to shoot me a message or whatever when you give it a go!
@@SculptureGeek Ah Man, thats so cool! I bet you built some amazing kits and scratch builds! (I'm so curious what some of your builds were but I also don't mean to pry ^^) Amazing what leads you into the next big thing in your life right? You found your calling for sure, it's a delight to watch you work. I love hearing you will do more material specific videos, so if and when you make those count on me to be here to watch those : D
I will for sure send you a message when I finally get into a clay project of my own, for right now I will work up to it : )
Thanks for response! It made my night ^^ You deserve so many more subscribers and views for your videos, sending you peace~
Awesome as always. Very happy to be a patron 🤘
Thank you so much Rikki!
I was always interested in sculpting and drawing growing up and these videos make me want to pour time into learning and honing the craft. Thank you for making fun and awe inspiring builds!
Thanks so much man! That's great to hear! We need more sculptors :) Hoping to inspire some and help out anyone struggling. Thanks again for watching!
Great job sir! Your tips have been helping me a lot on my sculpting journey! One day I hope I can achieve the level of detail you put in your work!
Can't get enough of your work bro, it's just awesome stuff. Im a little disappointed that im just not noticing that you put out a new video but that you tube for ya. Great job as always. Keep em coming
Thank you man! Means a lot. I still have so much fun making these videos and sculpting, As long as someone is watching, I’ll be here scraping away at the clay ☺️Hate that YT isn’t keeping up their end tho- I’ve been hearing a lot about notifications. Sucks but hopefully it will correct itself. All I can do is keep uploading 🤷♂️
You are a phenomenal talent, your sculptures are incredible and by the way, your editing is awesome !
Thank you so much! Excellent channel name btw! Lol
As always, an absolute masterpiece, just like your beard. Respect!
haha! Thank you- the lighting in my studio makes my beard look so black but irl, it's not. Looks like I colored it on with a marker in the video though lmao. My grays don't really show in it.
@@SculptureGeek Wonder-light! Grey strands look awesome in beards. Just like god of war
Finally watched the whole video. I'd totally buy a tool or two from you
amazing work as usual! even if its just a sketch, you always put so much time and effort into your sculpts and it's awesome to watch 🙌🙌
Thank you so much Melqui! 😀 This sculpt was finished in a day but that damn edit took me almost 6 days. I got this project on short notice- originally wasn’t even going to sculpt anything but I thought this character would be fun. I hated putting the chainmail on tho- lol was having fun with that wearing it around the house. Might have to grab another one 😂
This was moist! Seriously, good video and sculpt.
Thanks for the teaching!
My pleasure! Happy to share- hoping to inspire more traditional sculptors 😃
Hey man! Looks awesome as usual! Do I ever miss the days when you were on Twitch!! Keep it up! Always good to see you kicking ass on here!
Thanks bro! Yeah I miss streaming. I’ve been trying to get back to it ever since but I haven’t been able to dedicate the time to it. One day tho. It was a nice Weds/Friday ritual. Hope you’re doing well!
@@SculptureGeek Thanks, all good here, just constantly spinning too many plates around me, but I'm having fun! Don't be a stranger! :)
Looks great!!
You and your videos never fail to deliver such incredible quality and inspiration. Love what you do man, easy to forget theres a whole audience routing for you, get that Raid bag and hope to see you posting more soon 🙏🏼💖
I appreciate that so much! I've shyed away from these types of sponsorships but Raid has some really cool characters either way. Working on posting more too. This video came together really quick and I'm hoping to get into more of a flow with it. I personally like this style much more, it allows me to experiment with things instead of a long boring montage lol.
Great as always mate, interesting to see how you build these in more detail.
Thanks man! Yeah I really love filming this way. I can be more creative with the editing. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely Amazing !!!!!!
Thank you! 🙏
Sleep schedule can wait, new Sculpture Geek vid just dropped
Same
Ah ha! Thanks man! Great name too!
@SculptureGeek Based off my real name and the irony is something I'll never hear the end of, hope you have a great night ✌️
Amazing build as always!! Love ya ingenuity
Thank you! 😁
Awesome video as always, I appreciate the tips and tutorials as someone who took up sculpting in his late 30's its hard to find good instructions that are entertaining and don't just bore you to death. But you always put out entertaining videos and I look forward to them whenever I can get them.
That means a lot to hear man. Thank you! I remember having the same issue when I started- like, If I wanted to carve a piece of marble or make pottery, no problem but making a Street Fighter figure from clay- good luck. I think there was a whole generation that somehow got skipped. By the time social media got big and everything, digital sculpting took over. Just hoping to keep the medium alive and make some cool stuff in the process 😁🙏
Fantastic work! A like, a comment, and algorithm food.
Haha much obliged, friend! That thing sure is hungry. Keep your hands away from it's mouth lol!
This is awesome! Thanks!
😂 All around great video!! We love it!
Thanks KK! Miss the heck out of you guys!
you are very underrated man FR. what I would like to see is how you started in sculpting and how you got to master level. I'm just curious about how and why people like you started their work and how they got so good.
Hey Bro just wanna say thank you and love your work! keep doing what your doing!!!
Thanks so much friend! Will do- already on to the next. Thanks for watching and for the kind words! 🙏
Great piece !
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video as always! I sculpt out of monster clay and polymer clay, even though it's a much smaller scale to what you do your tips are invaluable, you got me in to using rake tools for smoothing out and it really levelled up my craft! I'm considering making my own tools now 😁 Keep up the inspirational work.
I am helping the algorithm by commenting!
Awesome sculpture and video, btw. Sculpting, such a cool thing!
Thanks thanks! Yeah, I got destroyed on this one lol. All good- I’m on to the next. Stay tuned 😃
@@SculptureGeek I will!! :D
Awesome! Very cool sculpture!
Oh god. He knows about us replaying "moist". 😅💖
Haha always watching 👀💦
I wanna be, I wanna be like Mike…he has some bloody good mates!
Haha that’s my brother from another mother. Type of dude you would want next to you in a war. Plus I’m out of room and he liked it so- two birds and all that 😅
toujours plus impressionnant !!
Merci beaucoup et merci d'avoir regardé ! L'amour des États-Unis :)
Your videos are always made with so much heart! (So are your sculptures I assume. ;) ) I'm not into those types of mobile games but watching your videos on nearly any topic is my joy.
If I happen to start sculpting some day, I would definitely use your videos to learn the way! Great explanations and nicely shown in the video.
Thanks for everything you do!
More videos Please ! your work is amazing !!
More to come! Already working on the next. This was a quick intermediate that I took on short notice. Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned 😊
I wish I had the resources to support financially, like many of us, I'm sure. The videos are well made, gorgeously shot, very funny and the sculpts are breathtaking, of course.
I merit your frustrations with the algorithm, and share some disappointment that your efforts aren't as recognized as they should be, but I do hope you'll post as long as you're able.
A lot of us are in the same boat, just needing to put food on the table for the time being. 😅
Keep fighting the good fight, and here's hoping for better days ahead, for all of us, eh?
Take care.
crazy good video and informative.
I'm really impressed by your work man, especially the editing. It should be enough to just make the thing, but being creative with the presentation always blows my mind. Keep it up man
Just commenting so I can help this vid do a bit better. Love you dawg, your skills are out of this world
Thanks man! Preciate’ ya! 🙏💚
I want to hug him when he made the "life of a sculptor" comment
Haha just bringing the truth! It’s such a solitary thing. I’m ok with that tho! Nothing like a cold beer, a good let’s play or podcast coming through the headphones, and a dimly lit studio on a Friday night! 🤤
Super cool video ❤
Thank you!
because this is good content
Thank you so much!
SHEEEEESHHHHHH 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Haha der vengerfelds yah haha soopa! 😂 Thanks thanks Amy! 💚🙏
Hello colleague, I finally waited for a new video. It's a pity that the last video got so few views, the work was not done small, I know what I'm talking about. I hope this will fly into the tops, and for this I will watch it from beginning to end =)
My friend, that means a lot to me. Thank you so very much for taking the time to write in and watch. Have a blessed day🙏
There is the possibility to watch an extended version of your videos?
TH-cam doesn't deserve the effort you put into these videos
Thank you very much. You’re too kind 🙏I still love doing it and I know there are some people who still love watching so this is for them 😊 Thank you again- made my day 💚
Great video, thanks a lot!)
Thank you as well for watching 🙏
I just stumbled on one of your videos yesterday, but it was an instant subscribe, I love what you did here and your style when presenting the info.
Have you ever worked with stoneware clay? I guess you can sculpt it pretty much in the same way, but I've been advised against spraying it directly, I'm looking into how to keep it moist since I'm much slower than you when working.
So I’m curious if you use a 3d scanner to import these as STL’s for production.
If you are looking for some sculpting suggestions. Disney's Maleficent of the Sleeping Beauty would be an awesome piece. I somehow found your channel a year ago. I hope you really get some more exposure. You totally deserve it with your talent. Also love the editing of your vids. Maybe you should colab with one of the bigger channels (Jazza, Ace of Clay, Evan & Katelyn) just to get some more followers. Wish you the best!
Thank you for the suggestion and the super thanks! Maleficent would be a great video for sure! I’m up for collabs with other artists too. Not totally sure how it would work but I’m sure we could figure something out. There are a lot of great 2D artists that I would love to sculpt one of their illustrations or vice versa. No biggie tho. I’m gonna keep trucking as long as it’s still fun and it is. Actually had a blast doing this quick Raid character. It was low pressure and a chance to share some knowledge. Already on to the next project which should be done in a few days. Thanks again for the support and the kind words! Cheers! 💚🙏
Great work. Have you ever done a self portrait/sculpt?
No, I haven’t but there were a couple projects I always thought would be cool. I always wanted to zombify myself or take something that has cool armor, like a gears of war figure, then replace the headsculpt with a portrait of myself. So many other projects I want to do first tho lol. Like if it’s a choice between sculpting Mario or myself, Mario is probably gonna win every time 😅
Homie said at the end “Clearly not the best” and I’m over here thinking Damn I can’t wait till I get this good😂
This was incredibly helpful ,as I only sculpt in oil based clay and want to branch out to wed clay
Hello! I love your channel. I was wondering on which platform of yours I can refer so I can learn how to create a cast for my sculptures. And also really dive in into sculpting. Thank you.
Yeah, you cut out those eye….. things. Great work as always. I’ll leave the real trolling for the discord. I liked it so much I hit thumbs up twice.
Brother u are amazing please post more often xD
Thank you, friend! I’ll do my best. Definitely need to up the content. Working on that for sure! Thanks for watching!
If you ever fall out with Mike, I'm your man and can help you dispose of sculptures you don't want to keep :)
Great post as always, thx!
OK.. Congratulations on the work is fantastic.. where do you buy the clay...
Thank you! You can actually get it on amazon if you can’t find an art store locally. Laguna, wed clay em-217.
Cool content. I like it
Thank you very much!
Wet clay I used to find giving a spray sometimes brought about a quicker drying out effect ? Don't know if you've tried once your sculpt start to dry out a coat of wood glue , mogpog, PVA over ? Loved this character
If I may ask, I noticed that you are using a turn table to help rotate your sculpture as you work with it, what type did you get?
Muito bom top! parabéns sucesso!!!!
Thank you very much! 💚🙏
I switched to zbrush because I had a really hard time making molds of my sculptures. Printing them is so much easier.
Yeah, I don’t love the mold making process lol. To be fair tho, I don’t really love the printing process either. It’s similar in knowing how to orient the model and instead of placing supports etc… it’s where to vent and sprue Once you learn enough about mold making though it’s just as consistent. Also, very handy to be able to mold a 3D print if you wanted to clean it up more, make small changes without reprinting, or just make a ton of copies in general.
@@SculptureGeek I do mold some of them. The 3d resin is really brittle. I just find it easier to split models and key them digitally. Made an alien head then I put clay over the top part of the head where I wanted clear resin. molded that then poured in the clear so that you can see the skull beneath. It turned out really cool looking. Sooo many failures though. You are right tho there’s still hurdles with printing stuff as well. 1 missed support can wreck a print.
Ah yes, teach me master!!
I love love love to watch you sculpt cool stuff. It would be so awesome to see you do a clicker from the last of us! Just an idea. Keep being cool
Thank you! Yeah a clicker would be fun project- super easy so I could get it done quick. That’s a great idea. I’m in love with that show. Of course the games too- not sure which one to do. Really looking forward to season 2 tho!
Awesome
Thanks thanks!
Amazing skills, talent , tips and editing as usual 😍
May I ask you wich diameter of piano wire did you used for your rake tool ?
And the way you make the teeth ?
(Maybe a small jeweler file I guess)
And my last question 😂
Is rake piano wire smoother than scroll saw blade ones ?
I started making my own tools since I watched your tools tutorial
Some years ago and I made a lot of them , I'm a guitar strings rake addict now 😅
But I need to make some stronger rakes
; Bigger teeth
( because sometimes I struggle with large surfaces "Smooth but bumpy surfaces" )
I learned a lot from your videos
Especially the way you smooth things out step by step
With patience
Keep up the great work you make !
Its always a joy to discover new content from you ✨️
Aboslute love these vids the talent you have!😍
Thanks so much for watching. I had a ton of fun with this one- just branching out a bit instead of the same ol' sculpting montage. I'm getting old, might as well try and spread some knowledge before the robots take over!
@@SculptureGeek hand made will always be better than robots some things you just cant change! Talent like yours is amazinh to watch i could watch you sculpt all day man!
Love it. I know it's just a sketch, but if you wanted to mold something like this, you'd have to do it in parts, yeah? Do you make stuff that you can take apart for molding ever?
Thanks thanks! Yeah there would definitely be a few pieces that you would have to cut up- mainly the eyes, the jaw, and the straps. I may back fill a few more areas slightly as well but overall not too bad. I didn't want to get into that too much in this video. I think the molding process really sways folks away from certain materials and it shouldn't. Once you get your feet wet and get comfortable with sculpting, the molding becomes much easier to understand.
Hi I have just started sculpting can u do a video how to more detail plz
New Subscriber!!! I came across your channel!!! I have considered taking up a scuplting class!!! Awesome project!!! What would you recommend for a beginner, or do you have any past videos on the subject for starting out!?! Because I want to get back into life drawing!!! Chicago, USA!!!
Thank you! To start with- pick a material you want to try, get some armature wire and some reference of something you want to sculpt. The trickiest part to start with is making an armature. That's basically a skeleton/figure/structure that supports the clay. Depending on what you want to make, that's what will determine the armature. Once that step is done, just dig in and start sculpting. If you have any background in art, anatomy, drawing etc that's a huge head start. As for tools, most craft stores carry little sets that will get you started. If not, amazon or even ebay I'm sure has something. I'm working on making my own tools available at the moment but it will be a little bit still. You don't need much though. Blick stores are probably your best bet for all of the materials and I know there are some scattered throughout Chicago. Sculpey is super easy to get a hold of and that's actually what I started with back in the day but it's really awful to learn with and doesn't act like other materials. I like Chavant, wed clay, monster clay is fine too. I use a bunch more different materials but those are fun and intuitive. Aside from that, read some books, watch some videos, and study the same way you would any other art form- paying attention to 3d form, light, shadow, composition etc... I have full length tutorials available on my gumroad page as well- they're paid but I stand by them and I tried to make the tutorials I wish I had when I started. Much different than my youtube videos- www.gumroad.com/sculpturegeek. Hope that will get you started for now. Let me know if you have any more questions
Awesome!!! Most highly appreciate the advice and recommendations!!! Thank you very much!!!
WOW👍👍
when it dry can you paint it?
I love and hate digital sculpting. How would you approach sculpting a mechanical subject like a TMNT Mouser in a "traditional" medium?
Same! So- I would definitely use wax and probably fabricate a bit more from a material like modeling board or styrene. There could even be portions where I would sculpt, mold, then clean up the casting and sculpt more on top, then re-mold. That would be extreme though- Normally a hard tooling wax would get me the results I need. Not to say it wouldn't be done in other materials but if you want to minimize the struggle or if you care just how crisp and clean it looks, then yeah, wax would be the way to go.
hay quá,,,tôi rất thích tác phẩm này
Thank you! 💚🙏
Did you ever tried digital sculpting softwares like zbrush?
Bro I work in a ceramics class, but Im wondering how you get such detail in your sculptures?
I think if the forms are correct, detailing is always the easy part. In this case, it might be the clay tho- some of those ceramics clays are a little tricky. This stuff is made for it. Literally engineered by Disney. Wed= Walter Elias Disney
