you have to let yourself get lost in the rich and dense descriptions, rather than being preoccupied with "where is this story going". he really is a great writer. try reading various stories from songs of a dead dreamer and eventually you'll find one you connect with. I think your opinion is valid, though, I've felt that way at times.
Great dream story ,very Lovecraftjan ..Ligotti is a brilliant writer
I just finished this. I absolutely love the images my imagination conjures up when reading Ligotti. BTW you should read some Bruno Schulz
Great story by one if my favorite authors. Thanks, I've not seen a good reading of this previously.
"The Medusa" next, perhaps?
Well done! Keep going. Please!
Another fine reading. Your readings are compelling. Thank you!

Mikolash? Is that you?
No! Now I’ll forget everything....
Excellent job Grimscribe! Where is the painting you used as background from?
Just some random fantasy artwork I found online. I couldn't find the author's name, and if anyone knows it I'll be happy to credit them or change it.
@@grimscribe6454 Thanks a lot for answering! Keep up the good work!
Can you do "The conspiracy against the human race" next?
I really like Ligotti and his ideas, but ive tried to listen to half dozen or so stories and am unable to get through them. They are terribly boring
They're slow, yes, but they can be haunting like few others.
I feel like they read better/faster then they listen. They're hypnotic to read. Jon Padgett has done a good job with a few.
They grow on you. Felt the same when I first bought a couple Ligotti books but then when I came back to them after a couple years I was hooked.

Im trying as well ...difficult.
He’s such a good author but man is he bad at titling these things.
