  • In this video, we will be installing a Keeper Winch on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma, using a hidden winch mount plate by AMP'd Up. No welding required! After the install, the winch and winch mount get put to the test on our first snowwheeling trip of the year.

Wonderful video you 3! Don't wanna leave out your beautiful pup. I watched because I am purchasing that same winch mount for my 2001 Tacoma. I wondered if I could still use my factory skid plate. Now I know. Thanks you guys! WTF. William Thomas F.

Awesome! Great job and great video. Appreciate seeing the different attempts at getting the bumper on (and the various trimming you had to work on). Love the snow and watching you guys successfully use the winch. Jealous of that snow trail - looks gorgeous out there!
What tires are you running on that Taco? I have a black extended cab just like that and love the look.

Looks awesome! It's a shame the mount they sell is $350 though. I just bought a universal winch mount from HF for $60 did a tiny bit of cutting and welding and boom, had basically the same exact mount they sell. Totally worth doing this way if you have an angle grinder and a welder, that's about all it took.

Can you fit your hand behind the bumper to free spool it? Looks like you did when you had to pull cable, but it didn’t look like much room was available when you put the bumper on.

Thank you for your reply. Is the mount only specific to the winch you got or is it universal? Can you do a walk around on your tacoma? That would be cool. Unless you already did it and I missed it. Thank you

My 02 is supercharged too with the 2.2" pulley. I just want more supercharger noises. That's an expensive intake for noises though hahaha. Form > function in this case. I do like the Folger's intake though..
