"Dubs are better!" "No, Subs are better!" why can't we all just be friends? it's all still Baccano! If you have your own preferences on how you watch it, that's fine. Everyone has a right to love Baccano, dubbed or subbed!! So Stop The Hate!! focus on the fact that you all love this amazing anime!
Firo lounges, Maiza parries, then Firo pushes back putting them in a bind. In a real combat scenario you would not parry a knife and even less so with your knife, because it's really likely to fail it's not like parrying a sword, and it's even less desireable to be in a bind with knives cause that leaves you vulnerable, so basically, Maiza let Firo win, by staying in the bind and basically giving Firo a chance to slash him
stfu sub is better and fucking stop your "english for stories in USA!" not for the cost of ruining emotional background and characters' emotional (second layer) dialogs!
stfu dub is better and fucking stop your "japanese is the intended audio!" But seriously, if a dub ruins intended emotions and second layer dialogues, that's its own fault. I can name many dubs that succeed in providing solid emotional (mostly better) deliveries than the same tired Japanese voiceovers, and there are a fair share of dubs that retain secondary meanings behind dialogue perfectly fine. I will not say that dubs in general succeed with this (because they just don't), but the handful that nail it do so brilliantly, including this one. And since you brought up emotional backgrounds and layered dialogue, I'm assuming part of that is in reference to the Baccano source material. The anime did its own thing, and the dub localized that thing, so I don't regard any validity in referencing a source material that isn't needed to get a satisfactory understanding of the show. Hell, I don't think guiding someone to source material to fill in what adaptations skimped on is ever valid anyway.
Oh dear. Well, everyone go home, he says they're both good. We've been wrong all along, constructive arguments were completely futile, what the Burger King drink says goes.
@@RhazOfRheos I don’t think Vino could be so strong. Ronny possibly knew all about being an Immortal, and we have not seen him going up against anyone big enough 1 on 1 yet.

I have no problem with other people preferring sub to dub for this anime but I hate how they write the dub as being terrible.
*THANK YOU.*
dub suck
Or just have common sense that we all have an opinion and should just stick with that fact instead of arguing
Subs
Anyone else notice how Ronny is the only one that doesn't cheer like the others at 1:57? 😂
I absolutely love Firo’s JP voice.
The first rule of stodgy gentleman's knife fight club is: we don't talk about stodgy gentleman's knife fight club.
jajajajajajaja
"Isaac was killed" i love Miria!
This is one of those scenes that is SO much better in the dub. It just isn't the same without the guy calling it a "ceremonial pistola."
Its super cool how this knife fight is basically exactly how it was described in the light novel
このBGMほんまかっこええ
Just watched the episode, but I wanted to see this scene again
逆によく今までこの祝砲で死人が出なかったな
God damn that ending lol
Baccano is one of the few animes were I think dubs are actually better. Probably because they got good voice actors for the accent work.
...can...can you actually lock blades with knives like that?
+brandon zhang It would have to be terribly deliberate on the part of both fighters.
Or there's a weird groove in the handguard.
brandon zhang Possible? Yes.
Probable ? No.

He is, but they don't even know it.
according to the i
wiki appearantly only the tip of his shoe was shot and he fainted when that happened but idk
because the voices in the original version fit way more perfectly....
that ending was awkward in the show

CynicalExperiments I love the dub tbh, it's one of the rarer dubbed animes that are perfected beautifully and clearly had much work put into it. 👌
I don't think he knows he can't kill maiza XD (I'm talking about the old geezer, saying "I'm going to kill the culprit right then and there")
I'm pretty sure he has a way to kill him. Maybe stabbing him in the heart and head would kill them. I dunno.
+Drakon ”Grimm” Minaka Nope, only Immortals can kills Immortals.
Did he just fucking shot the ceiling and killed one of the main characters😨😨😨
with Clare (Vino), they are all weak!
and Firo is probably main character

It takes place in AMERICA so the English dub would actually fit better IMO...but hey, different strokes for different folks.

Damnitt...not the dub...oh well...anyways why do most people put clips of the sub version and not the dub of most animes that have dubs?
Because most dubs are sheit. Not all of course, Baccanos is decent, but most of the time they just don't capture the moment at all.
what
baccano, cowboy bepop, berserk are better in dubs. SUBs sucks for these anime.
