Thank you Laxman garu. It looks amazing. Waiting for a full video with details on the facilities, exits and so on. This is overall such a good project for Pedestrian safety and looks beautifully done. Congrats @KTR garu for giving us Skywalks
If wishes were horses, the designer/planner would have connected the skywalk to the Uppal Bus Station. Since 2020 lockdown of elevators at pedestrian crossings, a majority remain dysfunctional and a sheer waste of resources. Stairs it is and people will find it easier to cross the road, traffic or no traffic. On NH65, I have seen old people, handicapped, children risking their lives just to avoid going up the stairs or, even walk to the Metro station to use the escalators/elevators as they have been designated as pedestrian crossings.

A sky walk should look beautiful as well... The curves on it looks like it's completely unplanned... The shape of it is asymmetrical which is ok but those curves are looking worse...

I've lived in Singapore. They build underpasses for pedestrians & use lots of escalators for anyone to use these paths. In Hyd, half of the metros Escalators don't work.
Skywalk looks really good, but think of its use. Who will walk so high with/without luggage and walk so far (round about way) and then walk down. You have to provide escalators that stop automatically when nobody is there.
We're still using 1980s Infrastructure models and trying to save Electricity /being stingy on useful things.
At the end, it just remains a show piece for everyone to go take selfies and curse KCR/KTR when walking on the bridge.

At least the subway for crossing roads and lift connection to the metro would be nice, but flooding may happen
@@gopichand1338 They have do something to make it easy for ppl to use it, these are the like icing on the cake; unless u have them, their full potential can't be utilised.
They should escalators or more no. of lifts and keep them working 24x7 and stop based on sensors

They have Lifts Metro Escalators and Proper placements of stairs as well.

Lot autos and busses stop at uppal x roads to drop passengers. Most of them are crossing roads to go to koti, secunderabad, lb nagar and warangal etc so they can use skywalk instead of crossing roads. But i doubt everyone will use it
Uppal x roads is one of the most dangerous spots for pedestrians. Many people have lost their lives while crossing that road ( I lost my own brother). People who reside that area can only understand how we gamble with our lives while crossing it. This skywalk is the most needed here.
To know the use of it You should Go uppal and Try Crossing the road 🤣🤣.
