To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. It had elements of a good story but a lot of the gameplay was quite dull, the minigames were bad (apart from the card game) and overall it just felt a big empty space where a good game could have been, but there just wasn't enough game to fill it. Not sure if that makes sense haha.
@88games86 yeah it does. It missed what made suikoden great, the characters weren't interesting and it just felt like you were going through the motions to get to the next bit a lot of the time. The castle progression is probably my biggest let down it just doesn't feel satisfying.
Very exciting! Vandalier Ash cleared everything by himself in the previous saga (like you said he would.) Curious to see how this turns out now!
What did you think of eiyuden chronicle?
