Improved Weapon Sounds for GTA IV v1.0 [2014]

This mod replaces all of the gunshot and explosion sounds in GTA IV with more authentic audio.
Since there is a high degree of overlapping whenever guns are fired in GTA IV, the full auto weapons may sound bugged, but that's just the way the game engine handles audio. I haven't yet found a script that fixes this problem.

@@MM-vi2jf Maybe in a field or out in the woods, but with all the buildings and roads in a city there's plenty of shit for the sound to bounce around on. The shootout from Heat sounds similar to this video, and that audio was recorded using blanks fired from rifles in downtown LA.

agreed , I dont have GTA V yet but all the sound mods Ive seen are to quiet and soft. or too bassy. This along with his own for GTA SA have that "popcrack" sound with vairing Echos pending on the left center or right. 1st person mod makes the sounds even more real. amazing sound design. i dont think this guy is active anywhere anymore. Im downloading this in case mediafire goes down one day before I get GTA 4.

I agree the gta v original sounds are pretty bad and the mods are still to soft and unrealistiq i have this weapon sound mod on gta 4 and had a gun sound on gta 5 but gta 4 are way better
