- This video will show you the very basics of setting up a dual router network. Basically, this will allow you to bypass your current router from your service provider, and let you setup a secondary router of your choosing. This is very helpful when replacing the original router is either too expensive or simply not an option. Enjoy!

In your guide to installing quad core on the w500 you replaced the bios chip with a heat gun & some flux paste. What temperature was your heat gun set to?
If I remember correctly I was set to 425. You can always start lower and work your way up
You saved me! The device i got from my ISP is a 5G Gateway. I have my suspicions that they locked out the port forwarding features and i do not trust Huawei's devices...
thankfully you censored your LOCAL IP ADDRESS SO NO HACKERS WILL HACK YOU THROUGH YOUR LOCAL IP ADDRESS BECAUSE THAT IS DEFINITELY POSSIBLE
what if I dont see the bridge mode on router?
I would suggest looking up your specific router to see where the option is, or if it's capable.
@@DeviceCastingCouchTechPodcast got a new router from isp its wifi6 so I just use that one
Not possible with T-mobile??
From what I've seen, the vast majority of routers/access points from T-mobile don't support bridge mode at the customer level. However, I'd contact their support line to make sure, as some models and plans do have work arounds.
@@DeviceCastingCouchTechPodcast Thanks for the response! I'll give em' a call
I’d let Ryan reroute my router, if you know what I mean
