What fun and a massive mud pit. The one sections looked scary. Great video as always and so many laughs, really lovely to watch. I loved seeing you with the boys and enjoyed the adventure through the camera. Thanks for that Darren. Take care and see you on the trail🤙
Fantastic mate, great video of a great day. I hurt as much from laughing as I did from my collection of crashes 😃 The Wrekin is one hell of a hill, definitely not one to underestimate.
Cheers Jason and thanks for showing me around. It’s definitely somewhere I want to return to. I don’t think I’ve ever been on a ride where there were so many crashes!
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland It really was a pleasure showing you round. Next time you are over, we need to show you the places closer to Oswestry too (and the Lakes of course; DEFINITELY the Lakes) 👍
"That is wild!!!" Is right... Place looks a challenge (let alone probably the steepest looking bit of track I've seen from the UK in a good long while) even if it were dry... But a right pucker fest in the wet! Nice work! Good day out though I'd wager!! :D
Thanks for watching Phil. My butt was puckered all day long!!! (Was that too much information?) Apparently though, bone dry conditions are even worse than the wet on the Wrekin. Hard to believe, I know, but I trust the boys when they say this.
Glad you enjoyed it. There was more laughing on this ride than any other I can remember, and seeing as no one got hurt (well apart from a couple of minor scratches) then it's all fair game 👍
@@midlifesendermtb2178 Coming from Switzerland and all its big mountains, I was pretty surprised by the severity of the terrain and super impressed by the quality of the trails.
Great video mate, what a crazy day this was, not the best of starts by me, you were perfectly placed to catch my OTB moment on camera 🤣 seriously steep fun and great laughs all day, it was great to meet you mate, i'm sure there will be a next time 😃👍
It was the perfect location for my first ride with you guys. I don't think anywhere else would have delivered as many laughs. Already looking forward to the next opportunity to ride together 👍
That was marc's back wheel catching something. Pretty impressive crash On that steep corner you can see forks that don't have enough support on them. That isn't going to help with the confidence. Stopadoodledoo is hilarious to watch lol
Thankfully it was just a really spectacular crash and Marc didn't hurt himself. My hire bike definitely needed a couple more tokens in the fork for sure!
Bloody Muddy Mary, if the first trail was on the easy side of the hill I don't want to know how it looks like on the other ! Glad you made it down in one piece without producing any sort of carnage ! Imagine if you're used to ride under such conditions all the time, it must be like in paradise when going somewhere the trails are dry !
Loved it mate, really helps capture just how crazy this place is when seen through a new to Wrekin persons eyes. Scares me everytime when we agree to go Wrekin 🤣 Fantastic finally meeting you, and riding with you, well more riding with you on second day for me, spent a bit of time walking this day 🤣🤣 great video. More excited for OGL though ❤🤣
It was a great day out - I was on a complete high for the rest of the day. I can definitely understand where the trepidation comes from though. Having said that, I don't think it'll put me off paying those trails another visit if I get the opportunity! OGL should be out next week.
Why have I not watched this? Well I have now and it's a belter. I knew what I was going to see beforehand but that place always looks full on crazy. Not been myself and think i might put myself back in hospital 🤣. Great video and top riding 👌
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland it is so challenging on those really narrow steep muddy lose trails. I always find myself grabbing the brakes too much when it's the worst thing to do. Closest I've ridden to that is probably Black rocks near Matlock, got some really great trails .....but that's where I broke my neck. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks man. This goes a long way to showing why there are so many good riders from the UK. What the trails might lack in length, they certainly make up for in intensity!
I know exactly what you mean. I was very cautious at the beginning, but after the first trail I began to have a bit more confidence in the levels of grip.

Great video as always. Laughing at someone's expense is not good, but no one was hurt, I had a laugh thanks. ☯️☮️

That was a laugh looked like a lot of fun, nice one Darren!!!
Thanks Gav. We had a proper laugh all day long. The wet off-piste we did in Les Gets was child's play compared to this though!
1:30 that just happened out of nowhere! Just started watching today, really enjoying the vids. Keep em coming 🤘
Thanks. I’ve watched that crash back so many times and I’m still not sure exactly what caused it. Thankfully Marc was OK though!
Congrats bro - Shropshire county is lovely-sure you had a couple of pints in Shrewsbury or Ironbridge afterwards. Thanx for sharing! Love your vids!
Thanks dude. There seems to be load of great riding in Shropshire. And yes there were a couple of pints consumed later, in Ludlow 😉
Very good video, we have loved the trail, it seems very fun and long. Thanks as always for the content. Greetings from INDONESIA 🤗
No worries. Thanks for tuning in!
Well done lads .. lots of fun and lots of Progression🤙
Thanks man 🤘 There's a ton of challenging stuff at the Wrekin. If it was your local, you could get really good, really quickly!
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland yeah that’s true… the trails there look so good.
Nothing but rocks and bone dry dirt in Australia lol 🤙

Blimey this looks insane 🤪. But I’m so very tempted 😏. Great video, loved it💪😜👊
It's so good! I will definitely be trying to pay another visit if I have time when I'm next back in the UK.
Fantastic mate it's very insane eh but great fun. Great day n hilarious 😂. Great ridin Everyone
Cheers Diz. The Wrekin is without a doubt truly nuts!

It was an awesome day with the lads. I was a bit out of my element on those wet and greasy trails I’d love to go back and try it in the dry.

Oh my world this looks…. Interesting! Welcome home!
Thanks Yann. Interesting is definitely one way to describe it!
💥💥WOW!!💥💥😁 That was a great video!!🤪👏💪Thanks for sharing🧑🎤and i look forwards for the next video!💏Have a great week ahead!!🤳🙏4U🌹🌹🌹👍👉💯20
Thanks for tuning in. Hope you have a great week too!
Few times i say auts 😀 quite steep hill, and muddy. Lot of fun anyway😀👍. Intresting vid and that weather maby little dangerous 🙃
It was a crazy day. There’s still plenty that I’d like to explore on that hill. Perhaps I’ll wait for some better weather though 😉
I’m getting Germany flashbacks of went roots and good times!!! Fun day of riding
Thanks dude. Good times were had by all!
Great!! Big release 👌

Wow Darren, steep and wet. Perfect combination for a ride 😬
Thanks Dave. It was a real wild time!
Bloody hell mark had a big one to start the day 😳 great video glad ive found your channel a sub from me 🤙
Thanks for the sub! Marc's accident took us both by surprise. It didn't put him off nailing some of the tough features later though 🤘
Great video, I couldn’t stop laughing.
Thanks John. It was a while back now, so I think I’m due for a return visit.
well that was „muudy“ 🤣👌
It certainly was. But somehow, nowhere near as muddy as next week's ride from Wales!
So much mud out there! I'd be praying to not fall pretty much throughout the entire track 😱
I know exactly what you mean. I was very cautious at the beginning, but after the first trail I began to have a bit more confidence in the levels of grip.
that would be fun in the summer i think
I'd like to try in the dry. Although, I have been told that it becomes really loose if it's too dry!!
Ich bevorzuge definitiv die Bedingungen, die Du in den Pyrenäen hattest.
Ich auch!!! Es war aber trotzdem ein Riesenspass.
Good video bro!🤟
