Mixed teams are going to be a key thing. Troopers score extra damage for every stack of evade on all allies (not just other troopers), and then they lose their own stacks. One Trooper with two rebels you can stack 80+ stacks of evade, Rebel evade stacks don't go away unless hit, making your trooper with them hitting for 100+ damage on basic consistently through the run. Paring one trooper with units that generate evasion makes for one shot killing machine troopers.
Two rebels, one Trooper; Rebel, one Ewok, one trooper; etc are monster teams.
Thank you so much for the tip! As I said in the video, I've only looked deeply at Troopers, so what you are saying makes a LOT of sense. Hopefully this video explains how people can accumulate that Evade though. :)

To add to this if you're short on relics; 1 rebel with evasive and 1 trooper with evasive can get pretty good points, for instance 2 common ones piet lead and han r8 (from executor and jabba reqs respectively) can earn ~2 million points for just the 2 of them. Just use evade and basics on both, ignore the other abilities.
As a bonus leia can solo for 2.4 mil which is great unless you've got an account that can max 8 runs
The reason why the ability is called "Get Alongside That One", and not just "That One", is that it's a quote from the speeder bike battle in ROTJ - Luke says that to Leia when they're on the bike together near the start. Same with "Jam Their Comm Links".
Right! That makes sense. But still rather awkward for talking about it and coaching online. The real pain will be "yes", "no", "yes yes yes" .... when coaching people with Mando's soon on Discord. LOL

Go for it! Troopers are never a bad investment! The big question is how good with Dark Trooper Moff G. be with Imp. Remnants? If he rocks, then more incentive for upgraded troopers.

I think C-3PO would also go great with Troopers, because he also has the Evasive Ability but doesnt loose them when using his Basic. And you can use him again if he retreats (and CG doesnt change it)

While not re-usable, ackbar, chirpa, and ewok elder have both evasive manuver and hasty repairs.
It makes me think that one of those + 2 troopers will be very effective because the 1 support character can continue to feed say Iden/scout trooper tons of stacks throughout a run.
Then scout's omni preserves the evasion stacks (until enrage).

In my very limited testing combing Ewoks and Troopers leads to massive points. They’re just so good together.
Yep! The team I really wanna try is Logray, StormTrooper and either Wicket or Kneesaa. Sadly, my Stormtrooper is G12 and my Ewoks are Relic 9! LOL

the easiest way is just pick the 3 or 2 man teams and say roughly how much points they get alot of ppl have posted screen shots showing this

The things you say here are great. But I think people are going to have problems with their character list . Sometimes they only have a few characters enough to play at a higher level, and playing at a higher level will result a better score. And that will break the ideal formations
Yep, once I figure out how all three factions work, I am to make team lists, modding guides. And alternates for them… crazy amount of work, but I like the puzzles! :)

Well, as I said in the video, I'm only looking at Troopers at the moment, and will get to the other factions ASAP. I really hope I did not say or come across as saying this is the way, as I my intention was to explain mechanics and share ideas and understandings.
I mean Leia, Drogan and Han are nice for 2,7m. But you can just 2 man Leia+Drogan for 2,5m and Han+Piet for 2m.
If your roster is shallow, this is a great tip!! I have most of the character's viable so I'll be hitting 8 full 3 person attempts, but thank you a lot for the advice. I know a lot of people might like that.
I hav piett on R8 for Executor requirement so my question is can i use him alone in this new raid as solo and get a good hit?
I really doubt Piett can hit this alone, but if you add 1 or 2 rebels who have Evasive Maneuvers, and spam that as much as you can, Piett will start to 1 shot enemies soon on basic.

took me three attempts... but 'still listening'. interesting analysis that made me realize cg put way too much 'thought' and effort into what is (so far) a lacklustre event. disappointed to see the 40th rotj anniversary end this way. imo deserved so much better/more.
Ya, turns out CG put a LOT of thought into this to develop the mechanics and character synergies that they did, but wow, not sure if it was worth the investment in player enjoyment. Regardless, I'm having fun trying to figure this out.
The fact that you have to have all these spreadsheets and track so much shit just goes to show how grossly over complicated this raid is. This video makes me like it even less. I dont want a fucking spreadsheet to figure this shit out.
Turns out it's actually really really easy once the code got cracked. Earning 95-95% per run is very achievable regardless of the level you play with the 1 IT + 2 units with Evasive Maneuvers. Considering it also only takes about 15 minutes once a week now, I love this raid.
