Love what Saylor did for BTC. But, I got tired of listening to him a while ago. He's no longer an objective observer of reality. Everything he sees is filtered through orange goggles. His assertion that ETH would be classified as a security and never get a spot-based ETF is proof of that.

Unlike many others Michael Saylor brings new material to every interview. So many simply repeat their narrative without any advancement of thought to another deeper level. Saylor brings a new depth to the topics he discusses. This is next level consideration.

I'm so glad to see that Peter has gained the confidence to go toe-to-toe with Michael Saylor on a topic as challenging as Bitcoin code conservatism. I concur with Saylor entirely, but Peter's respectful, skeptical probing of Saylor's belief system elicited one of the most powerfully articulated arguments for cautious development that I've heard. That half-hour segment will define the discussion for the upcoming decade of Bitcoin system evolution.
The thing is, Peter never backs off when he feels a question needs to be asked which is why I respect him so much. Re bitcoin development, I totally agree with your framing. Saylor is right once again.

In the future, Sayor is likely to become a figure of great historical importance for his trail blazing corporate Bitcoin stragey (he'll certainly be one of the most wealthy on the planet, due to his personal ownership of Bitcoin), and lobbying FASB to change regulation to fair value accounting, paving the way for enterprise adoption. This episode is so all encompassing that it may well become the go-to record/resource for those who want to understand Saylor's thesis and conviction. Thank you so much. Brilliant!.... Every time I listen to a Saylor long-form interview I feel as though I gain extremely valuable new insight and immensely greater perspective. In this case, he builds an extremely strong case for his POV on being resistant to network changes at the protocol level, while Peter also does a very good job in pushing back and getting him to clarify his position in more discernable terms. Excellent substantive discussion on the part of you both, gentlemen!

The beginning was awesome, loved listening to sailors btc entry story about saving a zombie company! Everyones rabbit hole stories are different but interesting, and somehow all the same. The 2nd half didn't get passed the subject of minimal changes unfortunately. And then yes this talk could go on for weeks and I will still listen! ❤

I agree with Michael here that any changes should be VERY, VERY slow, precise, and carefully thought out, but he continually uses straw man arguments to support his position . Peter: "Are you saying no changes to the protocol level?" Michael: "Do you want to change the numbers 1 through 9?" Michael is a giant in the space and I'm always excited to hear what he has to say, I'm glad Peter pushed back most of the time to make sure Michael stayed on topic and explained his position well.
This was a great interview, exploring in greater detail areas not typically discussed. I give you props Peter for feeling confident enough to disagree with one of the greatest intellects in all of BTC! Sailor never ceases to amaze me. He always makes every attempt to frame his views in a positive, constructive light. If he ever decided to run for President he’d get my vote!!
When Saylor blows up 💣 his argument about changes at the protocol level by bringing in the example of a lobbyist outlawing a soccer club in Bedford 🤯

I love his appropriate level of skepticism of people looking to change bitcoin at a protocol level without considering the unintended consequences. As a new breed of investors jump on the bandwagon they are bringing their fiat inflationary mindset to bitcoin where they can play god and make changes to benefit them in the short term at the expense of soverign rights and at other peoples expense. The same shit that destroyed fiat. We need ppl like Saylor

I have spent years listening to Mike and googling the words that he has used, and my intellect has increased in the basic fundamentals of Business about money, which I was never taught in School. I bought ONE bitcoin, and from Mike's teaching, I have been able to hold onto my bitcoin with the roller coaster up and down ride. Michael Sailor is re-educating me and has taken my family, a low-income and wealthy family, My Family now can support the poor. I would VOTE for him as President of the USA
