Seems like my, bought new in 1979, Honda CBX with inline 6 cylinder naturally aspirated engine should rate some mention on these type videos. It still handles as terrible as on the first day i rode it but looks and sounds wicked cool.

CBX is still the king of sound. My friend had 2 of them. One had stock exhaust but the other had a bad arss aftermarket exhaust that sounded incredible, Sound like a formula 1 car.Awesome bikes....to hear.

It's kinda one of them things that make you rethink what you thought you were going to do. Well good luck with safe bikes, slow life and fast women. Oh yea, if you get one that's frozen up shine pure straight 2 stroke oil into cylinder and let sit a bit. Try turning it but don't force to hard. If it don't move yet let it sit some more...if it tries to move even the slightest don't try to keep turning it in one direction, just take whatever slack it gives you and rock it back and forth. It will start loosing up and start moving more and more back and forth , most cases it's not so much the piston froze up as it is the wrist pin and the rings. This will help to keep from breaking rings and scratch up cylinder getting piston out. When it feels like it will turn a good 1/4 turn do not rotate it around anymore because it still has rust and crud on piston that will scratch up cylinders. If it rocks back and forth a 1/4 turn it freed up enough to get it out or at least pull the head and see how bad it is, I have had some I never even re-ringed but I could physically see it was just stuck rings from sitting. 2 stroke oil has strong corrosion inhibitors and solvents strong enough to combust and keep the carbon deposits that a 2 stroke creates clean..so it eats through though build up crap. I used to have a GSXR 1000 K5. Bought it new. There were safety recalls for the front brake master cylinder and the frame (sometimes the front end of the bike would snap off at the headstock). Also there was a volunteered slipper clutch recall/repair I think, but by then my bike had been stolen. In addition the exhaust valve tuning servo malfunctioned from new and needed replacing under warranty and the paint on the clutch assembly cover flaked off. Having said all that I saw 186 mph flash up on the speedo and it hit 163.2 bhp on a dyno (with a top speed of 202 mph). I think I’ll stick with Honda.

(a fraction of the RR Literbikes) if that 120hp figure was right? So funny how much power yesteryear bikes DID NOT have Like the "widomaker" Kawai triple I think was like 60hp
I was working at a Suzuki/Yamaha dealers in 1980's, original V-Max were all over the place power wise. Some were 148bhp at the wheel while others were 'restricted' to around 110bhp. Full power ones were very 'interesting' to ride on anything other than dead smooth road. We always pulled carbs after first service and cut away the ledge in manifold restricting flow. Very few had the extra butterfly between left and right banks allowing all four carbs to feed one cylinder at high rpm, vast majority only had extra butterfly between front and rear cylinders so allowing two carbs to feed one cylinder

No idea how the disaster Dodge Viper engined thing ended up at number one? By all accounts it was unrideable over 50mph and just fell down, most advertising video was at less than 30mph. Suzuki chickened out with the B-King, it was supposed to be supercharged making over 300bhp but ended up with a slightly tuned Hayabusa engine making 'only' 194bhp, Kawasaki went ahead with deliberate track use only. If Suzuki had done the same it would probably outsell the Kawasaki as turbo 'Busa' bikes have reached 700 bhp and been street legal
