      It s great idea. Why democratic leaders should live in palace or monuments ?

    Number 10 is mostly offices. The part where the PM lives is actually both small and plain. Palatial it is not.

      It’s huge inside ! And three stories high with a big garden google it! These sort of houses go for about 2 million or more in London ! I’ve been in many that are similar they are normally converted into into flats and have many residents , years ago they had servants in the upper floor ! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌹

      Tbf the pm often lives in number 11 since it’s bigger. Despit Sunak having larger family he took the larger one

    It's funny that they say that the "residence" doesn't have enough space to govern. I mean, Hugh Grant was able to disco dance through the whole thing in Love Actually - seemed pretty roomy then. ;)

    What is going on in England? When did R turn into W? I'm hearing this more and more.
    I can imagine it now: "Speak the speech, I pway you, as I taught it to you, twippingwy on the tongue."

    • @ruby994
      @ruby994 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      all over the world there are people who can't pronounce their 'R's, not just in Britain. I've lived here my whole life and practically everyone can pronounce their R's

    • @Dream0Asylum

      This one guy probably has a minor speech impediment that might be complicated by his native accent. Johnathan Ross famously has an R to W speech impediment, but is able to speak perfect English in every other regard.
      I don't think it's going to catch on quite as you insinuate - like the Spanish lisp.
