So fun exploring old Forts. Almost reminds us of Fort Clinch in Amelia Island. Fun fact about Francis Scott Key.... His original house is still standing right outside of University of Pittsburgh! 🇺🇸

Thanks for watching and that interesting fact. I did not even realize he was from Pittsburgh.

I found this channel while on a family road trip and we passed the airstream. I searched up the channel and now I just can’t stop watching!!

Rich - I had to laugh when you mentioned "symbology is not a word, something Dan Brown made up" -- when I was on the Joint STARS (E-8C) Test Team while on active duty with the Air Force, Dan Brown came down to visit with us and talk about the new book he was writing. He wanted to include AWACS and Joint STARS (I have flown on both) in the book. The term "symbology" was widely used in our community in reference to Tactical Data Links and what we saw on the screens e.g that guys a fighter, that guys a bomber, etc. So, he didn't make it up, we introduced it to him. Great video - I love Ft McHenry - can't wait to take my wife there someday.

Hi Brian! Thanks so much for that story! I would bet that based on his novels, "Symbology" is not only a recognized word but probably actually is now a course of study at Harvard...

The first site is a drive your motorhome in site, not a back your trailer in site. The second site, I've done a u-turn to get out of a multi trailer campsite and gone the wrong way on a one way street. No one had a complaint.

yeah that is a bad site...but hey...just gotta get out and block the road while you come in the wrong way. Had to do that several times..

That site looks pretty tough but unfortunately I have had to back in worse

Thanks for watching! We've had some pretty dicey back-ins as well...

Sometimes the campgrounds allow travel the wrong way to get to a difficult site. Especially during the week when things are slow. Can't hurt to ask.

Thanks for watching and excellent point to ask. Maybe even a Ranger in a golf cart would block the way if asked nicely...

Periodic Table! What a great name for a restaurant. It does not take much to entertain us engineers. :)
