I want to say thank you to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this powerful, powerful teaching that has blessed me so greatly. I also want to say thank you to Barry Bennett for allowing God to use him in such a powerful way. I can really see why so many Hosts always mention that Barry is one of their favorite professors, I don't study at Charis Bible College and Barry Bennett is already one of my favorites to listen to. Barry makes a great point about deciding FIRST that I DO hear GOD. This is how I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I decided before I received it that I have the gift and I am walking toward the manifestation of the gift. And then I put my faith toward the truth I had already decided and accepted.
Such a great reminder that we have to determine our identity and let everything else catch up with that determination.

Praying that my eyes are opened as well as everyone needing to hear this today. The struggle has been real, growing up in a very secluded environment, not knowing much about communication. Thank You Father for this anointed teaching! I can certainly agree as a now 2nd year student of Charis bible college in Canada campus, that growing in faith and learning about the love of God and His true nature, His Will for us as His children can only come through a systematic way of going about it. And the college truly offers that.
How many times have I cried in most lessons because God has revealed to me His love through all those lessons! I took the echaris platform for my 1st year as I work full time as a nurse, have a family with 3 kids. Just watching TH-cam videos randomly without a systematic way of the foundation of the Word building up on each other, will not cut it, if you're really really seeking to know God and wanting to have a relationship with Him.
I strong recommend the echaris distance learning if you can't physically go to school.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
I'M sunk... At this time, I have not heard from God. Since my girlfriend died. I have no relationship with God. I spend hours talking to God with no real direction. I even ask for his fellowship. I read and study. I listen to your audio. I have a friend who says he knows God. I talk to God all the time. I am alone.
Independence is the beginning of confusion and loss.
I'd say also...if Bible is boring...move away from any set programs etc....(that's me in control). I trust the Spirit in me and I just open the Word until something 'speaks' to me, catches my attention, has a relevance to me now. (I've done it for 30 plus years.) That's when it comes 'alive' . If I don't 'want to' read anything...I don't...with no condemnation!. (However, I read lots because I never 'have to'.) Maybe I feel drawn instead (HS...draws us, not pushes....) to a book and THAT speaks to and feeds me and brings 'Life'. (He's in that too) or a message online (like Barry's!). Or to some music instead that feeds, nourishes me. Learn to trust and look for that sense of 'Life' in your heart. eg John 6:63 Romans 8:6 Forcing steals the life and joy. (I still get caught in that ....) Should, ought to etc ....is of 'law'. Yes there may be some discipline and decision (ask him to help) to make time and come and be with the Lord....but then trust the Leader (are we led by the Spirit?) in our heart.....where He lives (He doesn't LIVE in our head tho he works thro our mind...) He gives a new 'want to' - that's the New Covenant promise. eg Philipians 2:13 Heb. 8: 10, 11. It's a 'new and living way' 😊...not old and dead!! Follow Life and Peace and refuse pressure (brings oppression and confusion) and deadness, dullness and seek the Living Lord who gives us Living Water 💦 and the Bread of Life 🍞. His love his presence, his grace, his truth, his wisdom, his inner strengthening ....will come to us in this pathway.

I want a fellowship with my God
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
How do we fellowship with God and with Jesus Christ of Nazareth? From Jesus and Sylvia Nazareth.
This is the answer for Toni who struggles with legal mind ( legalism):
Zacchaeus was a tax collector, sinful, greedy, hated by all men in his time.
When he knew that Jesus will pass by his place, he climbed on the tree to see Jesus because Z was short.
Jesus looked up and called Z to come down the tree and said He will come to his house that night for dinner. Others who followed Jesus got surprised seeing J eat with sinners.
After dinner, the goodness of J transformed Z heart. He repented and promised to give money back to all whom he collected from greedily.
As you see, God love sinners. He hates sins, but He loves sinners like us. You are good, blessed, healthy, happy , or sick,, poor, not because of your good deeds or bad deeds, not because of your performance, but because the nature of God is good.
If J can bless the sinner Zacchaeus, he can bless you regardless you are good or bad. Have faith in the unconditional love, forgiveness of God for us.
Than the goodness of God will lead you to repentance.
Repentance does not mean you beat yourself up, trying to be good, not bad, trying to follow the Ten Commandments, the law of karmas, of sowing and reaping.
Repentance is to turn from wrong thinking toward right thinking, change of mind.
Change the thought that you are blessed because of your performance ( which is exhausting and limited, meager), to the thought that you are blessed because God love you unconditionally and forgive you for all your sins.
Then the goodness of God will transform your mind, your heart. When you are nourished , strengthened by His love and wisdom and protection, the love and the gratitude in your heart will give birth to happy right thinking that will bless you and others. Thoughts change karmas, change the law of sowing and reaping.
If you have happy thoughts, you will bless yourself and others. Then your bad karmas will turn into good karmas.
But you cannot do it by yourself. You need to understand and receive the unconditional love and forgiveness from God.
God said: my plan for you is to prosper you, not to harm you; to give you hope and a future."
So, let go of the burdens of guilt, shame, worries, fear of punishments. Receive His Grace , then the by product of receiving His Grace will transform you to a better person without struggling with the law, the Ten Commandments.
The law is good, holy. But you can obey the law the best you can only after you receive Jesus Love, His Grace, His wisdom.
Do not let guilt, fear that bad karmas will punish you and prevent you from having the abundant life that Jesus has for you.
You can change your bad karmas to good karmas by changing your thoughts. Thoughts of gratitude, of love, joy, faith in God etc...
