So fucking gooooooooood
nailed it :)
Great as always brother, what guitar are you playing?
Zach Cooper It’s a Washburn Maya, Dan’s old signature model. Named after his daughter :)
Guitarist Kuro who is Dan again?
Yeah he’s one that doesn’t get a lot of recognition.
Great work man, have you thought about picking up one of dans schecters?
Not really a fan of aesthetics of his Schecter. I've played it and it sounds and plays exactly like the Washburn so I really have no reason to get it.
@@MysticGuitar77 It plays like his Washburn? Im super shocked by that, that being said i've not looked at the pickups that are in either guitar so for all i know they're the same haha. Im really gutted no where i can find in the UK sells the Maya 85 that was his top of the line model? A lovely looking guitar, that said i have a Schecter Demon and i can hardly play that so i should probably learn to play ok before thinking about other guitars haha. Awesome cover as usual man, been loving all the disturbed stuff lately
+Nathan Lawson His newest version of the Schecter has the Schecter branded pickups instead of the classic SD El Diablo so I'm sure it sounds different. The original version of his Schecter had the El Diablo pickup like his Washburn did and that's the one I played. Those two sound identical and feel the same. The nicer thing about the Schecter though is it's a little lighter. The Washburn is heavy lol. I'm not a big guy like Dan so the Washburn wears me out after a little while if I'm standing and playing. I have the DD75 which was the one right behind the DD91 which is what Dan played. Washburn made a DD91 which had the classic silver flames on it like Dan played back in the day but that was crazy expensive I remember. The specs were the same, the only difference was the silver flames. The DD75 was $1600 when it came out, the DD91 was $2000+ and they all go for pretty good money now too. I've seen a couple of those DD91's go for $3000+ which is absolutely insane.
may i ask what amp are you using and any effects pedals? great cover dude..thanks
Great work man! How many guitars do you have!?
8 electrics, 1 acoustic
Tuning?
Drop C
The tuning and octave are slightly off
It sounds good to me. No difference between this and the studio recording. It's in drop C tuning and to my ears, I know this tuning so well! Alot of bands use it including metalcore bands. CGCFAD is the actual tuning.
@@jacobfountain8063it's not the correct effects then if you listen to this and the recording side by side you will hear it for sure
@@TheShadowBrokers1 I'd agree they do sound different. The added effects would equal it out better. It's the small details that matter.
@@jacobfountain8063 I'm an audiophile it's a real science
