Also, for context. Every expectation we have of the team today has been brought by Arteta. You say that finishing in top 4 is a sackable offence, and yet that is better than where he found us. He has us challenging for PL titles, something we stopped doing in 2007 or earlier. He has us playing in the CL Quarters, something we stopped doing in 2013 or earlier. Nah! For real though Hands off Miks, he single handedly built that team and they are competing again this slump they're in isn't permanent... We want him at his best when Slot beats him 🤔

Liverpool have 2 quality players in all attacking positions. Have proper cover for the middfielders who are dynamic and can cover defensively and rotate. Proper recruitment. Arteta has not built a proper squad. No proper striker and no proper cover for the wingers for injuries and suspensions. Now all I'm hearing is we need a proper striker after he recruited Havertz for that role and he's being found out as he's not a proper striker. We have recruited more defensive middfielders when we need forwards. It's a shambles all created by Arteta. Wake up he's not a proper manager. his whole system relies on Saka, odegaard and Saliba. If one of them are injured it all goes Pete tong. When Pep has injuries to De Bruyne or Haaland, Pep gets it over the line. Arsenal fans now realizing what opposition fans have been saying for years. Arteta keeps signing defensive players instead of creative players. How does it make sense to spend £105 million on Rice when he’s not even better than Partey? Sell Smith-Rowe, Nketiah and Nelson and replace them with Calafiori. The only top team with 4 LBs!!
When I say this about Rice also, I get attacked, online & offline... A lot of the fanbase are running from the truth that Rice is simply not better than Partey. For double the money of how much Partey cost, I expected him to at least be on par with Partey, not lesser than. How many midfielders we gonna sign to support/unlock Rice?!? 😆
We needed Rice because Partey was injury prone and getting older. Rice was one of the best players last season. Rice is our long term solution. Calafiori is a top signing. We needed him because our defenders getting injured at the star of the season. And they are heavily rotated this season. But injuries are unlucky sometimes, just happen. Merino was left 8 we needed and it's fine. We are lucky Partey is fit. We as fans were not sure Partey will be able to play so many games already. Lots of fans wanted him gone already. Fans all shouted for a striker, not creative no10. Vieira didnt work out. It happens. Not every transfer is perfect. Nketiah and ESR were sold to fund our transfers. We think ESR would be usefull, but he didnt fit in Arteta's system, plus he was getting injured a lot. It's always a risk. By the way two weeks ago Arsenal looked fine and promising even without Odegaard. But small margins and two bad performances against Bournemoth and Newcastle made our season in a league questionable.
People complaining about ESR, the guy was never fit for us. If we had kept him, he'd probably be injured today. And playing Partey at RB doesn't prevent him from creating from deep. The reason why Arteta keeps Partey at RB is so that he can invert from the right and join midfield (Like Zinny and Cala do on the left). He's only a RB on paper and out of possession, when we have the ball, he has the freedom to play as a mid.

Reality I got fade up of football coz I can’t support a team from child hood like Arsenal and I never see the team wining a premier league. It’s now going to be 22 yrs. Can u imagine??😳😳😳
Have you ever considered that Arteta and Edu might actually agree with us or even share the same views? It could be that the real decision-making comes down to the owners, especially when it comes to approving funds. When the owners decide against funding certain moves, it might lead to the team’s drop in form. Perhaps the coach, in a way, is trying to prove a point, and unfortunately, the only way to do that is by letting the form dip. Yet, it’s sad that, 99% of the time, the blame falls entirely on the coach or manager.
Over 700 million spent with 1 fa cup with the team he inherited from Emery, a good show of football (when everyone is fit), and 2 back to back second placed positions. All is well for a Newcastle, Villa but to be an arsenal fan and settle for this sort of progression with how much has been spent in the amount of time he has been given it's worrying because that's not a big club mentality
I agree with everything said except for sacking him… I’m no Arsenal fan but still he’s a young manager navigating his way. He’s done a good job till now and it’s all about finding that “it” but sacking him for not winning the league or in a top 4 fight is too reactionary imo.
Smith Rowe was best played off the left, and that's unfortunately the position that Arteta likes to have his width, Shame Robbie couldn't answer that one straight away and let them go on in that rhetoric, the only problem that Arteta did was not implement Nwaneri sooner, We had 3 games where he should've played and yet we haven't seen him playing for us there. Odegaard's absence and Havertz dropping down there.
Arsenal have been too highly praised. The pressure you've all put on your own players media and all leaves them trying too hard making mistakes. Saliba will leave, arteta spent alot and done more with the team he inherited than the team he created. I respect his work, but you aren't all that. As a Chelsea fan we are looking better than ever and have a future with owners who may get mocked but they spend and spend and eventually that has to go right. Arsenal only buy when needed but chelseas bought two teams and in a long season that matters
Fast forward 2 months, people will start calming down. What we've learnt about Arsenal is the team have grown mentally and want to win. We have the togetherness to fight in games. We'll be fine. People are just enjoying riding on Arsenal whilst we're down because they clearly see how good this team is. We've had a lot of instability in regards to injuries, red cards, tough fixtures etc. Onece the team settles, the haters will shut up again. And sacking Arteta for coming 4th this season is utter stupidity. Losing Arteta would be regression. We've seen what Utd have been through with multiple managers. Same as Chelsea. Calm down kids.
Doesn't every team have like 3 years of competitive ability at the top before a rebuild of some sorts , artetas current team have bottled it twice and are bottling their third year before pep potentially leaves and slot , amorim and enzo rebuild their squads
Arteta is the most overhyped and overrated manager of my lifetime. He’s so extremely overhyped. He can’t lace Emery‘s shoes and is nowhere near Pep or Klopp. Even Alonso plays better football and won a big title in Germany against a team that constantly destroys Arsenal in the CL and kicks them out of the competition. As an Arsenal fan myself I say that if he doesn’t win anything this season, he has to be sacked. He was allowed to invest 800 mio and given 6 years of time already. Klopp won the league and CL with a much better net spend after just 5 years
I hate to defend Arsenal but I’m going to, but I’m also defending man united at the same time. I think the Odegaard injury is more important than people think. I think people in general over hype managers as these geniuses who can get big results when the key players are out. Sometimes, but overall this isn’t the case. When Liverpool lost Van Djikk in that back 4 their defence turned to shit. When Salah is out they are worse. When city where it’s less noticeable, if they’re missing Rodri they are much worse then when he’s playing. I mention man united because although I agree ten hag should have been sacked, when he has multiple injuries he was just meant to get on with it but the same people are saying 1 player missing from the Arsenal system ruins it. I just think people overall act like managers are these wizards who can do anything, do you know why slot is doing well at Liverpool? He inherited a good squad, with world class players like Salah. It’s not that he isn’t having an impact but I genuinely think some people believe if he was to inherit say spurs or united who have worse squads, he’d have them challenging. I don’t think it’s the case.
Isak is top four cl level and ill stick by nunez becoz, hes awesome but i was tempted to switch if i could. But then he chips it over a brighton playrs head and i feel yea hes got skills ..nearly as cold as cole palmers touch against utd. Levels. Isak is cold in front of goal tho and sadly a rival will nip him
Partey is doing that thing manutd players do...last year of contract...they play unbelievable... amazing...boom!! New contract, bigger wage...injured...play normal. Luke shaw was never more available than before he renewed the contract...the brother even played as LCB better than Martinez..same with martial. I respect his hustle...he out there securing the bag 😂😂😂😂
Arsenal need to decide what Arteta will ultimately be. Whether they stick him around and hope that he’s what klopp was for liverpool, or is he just another brendan rodgers. Maybe they need that next level manager.
For me it isn't about having the same amount of losses or whatever it's down to how they are playing, they look lost out there and even more concerning for Arsenal fans is he looks lost on the touch line as well
Well isn’t that the point Robbie? Lost at Newcastle last year, had lost two games around this time last year. Isn’t that the point? To right the wrongs of last year? If Arsenal had won the league last year regardless of these statements, you would’ve had a point. Liverpool also weren’t as good as they are now last year
Martinelli was good the only one trying to take on players and nobody played the ball between TLivramento and the CB martinelli is best when the defender has to run back towards his goal 🎉
Here’s how I see it…… Arteta bought Havertz as a midfielder but soon realised he wasn’t up to it so pushed him up top, hoped for the best and it’s kind of worked. However it’s now occupied a space up top meaning he can’t now spend big on a striker because he needs to justify the £65m he paid for Havertz. It’s the same thing for Mireno, bought him in as an 8, but now Partey is having his best season so he cannot be dropped. He tried forcing Mireno in to the team as a 10 but it failed, couldn’t wait to get Partey at RB so he can have them all in, again to justify the spend and the 7 week chase, and again that failed. Arteta’s plan has failed and he is panicking. He left us short in multiple positions and it falls on him. Yes the players underperformed at the weekend but tactically he is failing them. I’m not Arteta out, but he needs to change something and quick!!
Arteta is too stubborn in balance up the team and some tactic. And take such a long time to test out his tactic. Would you expect a team without single proper striker to win a league? Non of our player can score more than 20goals a season. No substitute for saka and martinelli. What can we do? Top 4 is the realistic target for this season. We use Nketiah for last 2 season who should be sold 3-4years ago. ESR creativity and score ability is what we need and we sold him. Do we expect Gabriel to score every match from corner? i am not sure what is the attack plan for right now. Every passing look so passive and predictable.
5 years this month, 1 fa cup. Top 4 is not a trophy when it was Wenger in charge..now top 4 by arteta is seen as genius. Time to raise the standards

Don Robbie has turn so delusional for this manager its sickening
Arteta did well to build this team now it's time for proper manager to take over him
Over 700 million spent with 1 fa cup with the team he inherited from Emery, a good show of football (when everyone is fit), and 2 back to back second placed positions. All is well for a Newcastle, Villa but to be an arsenal fan and settle for this sort of progression with how much has been spent in the amount of time he has been given it's worrying because that's not a big club mentality
I agree with everything said except for sacking him…
I’m no Arsenal fan but still he’s a young manager navigating his way.
He’s turned our attack into a pub team attack ..
Arsenal doesn't have a natural 9, there biggest problem. If you want to be a contender you need that 9 who scores at least 15 goals.
Robbie is so blinded.....even Stevie wonder can see clearer than him😂😂😂😂😂
Busby babes cannot forget Bob paisley Hillsborough
As long as the mentality doesn't change, and a top CF is signed by Arsenal. This will be about the top 4 finish, not the EPL title.
The only issues are using too small of a squad and refusal to buy a proper 9. The injuries have gutted the club this season.
The starters injured. Odegaard
Father christmas is a Arsenal fan look at his colours, and we wish it could be christmas everyday is the Arsenal anthem at christmas wizzard
Flex is 💯 right. How can one man out destabilise a a whole team? Goes back to the notion of no plan b and letting players go without adequate cover.
Isak is top four cl level and ill stick by nunez becoz, hes awesome but i was tempted to switch if i could. But then he chips it over a brighton playrs head and i feel yea hes got skills ..nearly as cold as cole palmers touch against utd. Levels. Isak is cold in front of goal tho and sadly a rival will nip him
Arteta is good. Let's judge at end of season.
ARTETA KEEPS PISSING ON ROBBIE AND TY AND MAKING THEM BELIEVE ITS RAININGG 😢😢😢
Partey is doing that thing manutd players do...last year of contract...they play unbelievable... amazing...boom!! New contract, bigger wage...injured...play normal. Luke shaw was never more available than before he renewed the contract...the brother even played as LCB better than Martinez..same with martial. I respect his hustle...he out there securing the bag 😂😂😂😂
People trying to send Arsenal back to mid table give Arteta his flowers made Arsenal relevant again
I agree in everything said by Flex
Arsenal fan
Same Robbie has been banging on since last season that they are ready again etc hahahaha now this…… very fickle man
We’ve not seen merino ordergaard and rice
Arsenal need to decide what Arteta will ultimately be. Whether they stick him around and hope that he’s what klopp was for liverpool, or is he just another brendan rodgers. Maybe they need that next level manager.
Thing is, Klopp delivered when he said "I think we'll win 1 title in 4 years this time"
1 fa cup in 4 years, if he doesn’t win anything this year let alone a big trophy he’s gonna be under serious pressure.
“Forrest Unfittaker” eXpressions
For me it isn't about having the same amount of losses or whatever it's down to how they are playing, they look lost out there and even more concerning for Arsenal fans is he looks lost on the touch line as well
The hate is hilarious, jealousy is a bitch
Arteta is our Brendon Rodgers ….. thanks for doing what u did …. Now go get a winner
Well isn’t that the point Robbie? Lost at Newcastle last year, had lost two games around this time last year. Isn’t that the point? To right the wrongs of last year? If Arsenal had won the league last year regardless of these statements, you would’ve had a point. Liverpool also weren’t as good as they are now last year
why does he have to play party out of the position when we really lacked the balance in midfield why
Martinelli was good the only one trying to take on players and nobody played the ball between TLivramento and the CB martinelli is best when the defender has to run back towards his goal 🎉
Robbie arguin smith rowe isnt creative is incorrect. I wajted him as a lfc fan. We shudnt have left carvalho go. We lack crestivity through the centre
Arsenal can't change the course of a game this season. When they begin poorly it ends like that.
Ten Hag got SACKED soon after winning the FA cup for Man U, yet these Arsenal fans act like it was Artetas saving grace. Embarrassing
Here’s how I see it……
Arteta bought Havertz as a midfielder but soon realised he wasn’t up to it so pushed him up top, hoped for the best and it’s kind of worked.
Facts
Arteta has spent in 5 years close to 800 M Euro. For an FA Cup which he won with the squad he inherited 🤦♂
Edu you should have bring Arteta with you
If Emery gets this team he will do better.
Robbie delusional about Arteta
Smith rowe isn't creative? What 😂😂😂
Now Arsenal fans get it why we say injuries are NOT an excuse. Your man is just not good enough.
There is a guy in holland looking for a job
