Tristan Tucker is the only horse person (especially within the 'horsemanship' world) that I can honestly say I wholeheartedly agree with every single thing he says. Spot on. Every time.

I agree he is amazing. But I would also say that for Warwick Schiller. 😀 They are both incredible.

I would also add Ryan Rose, Tim Anderson & Steve Young, who helps severely traumatized horses & ponies in England. A true Horse Whisperer...
We are so blessed to live in an age where kindness and understanding are more prevalent in training horses and dogs, ie Cesar Milan & Dog Daddy! 🐎 🐴 🐕 🐶 🦮

@@calista1280 I am from England and don’t rate Steve Young personally :) but yes definitely the others!

Just found your channel - thanks for sharing your wisdom - I'm a country girl with a grade mare. My horse is my happy place whether riding or working on the basics. I'm amazed at the horse people who show in the area - that do not understand the basics of horsemanship - they just want to win ribbons. I feel sad for their horse. Knowlede from the foundation up is so important for the horse and the rider. Thanks again. Tabor City, NC, USA.

Great talk -endurance riders are a very good group that defines these qualities . They have a close relationship with their horses ,and have self awareness as horsepeople . This is for folks who compete and do basic trail daily trail for pleasure . A good group to study.

I don't see it that way. Pushing your horse so you can say you can do x kilometres does not a good horseperson make any more than the ego trip in any another horse discipline.

We need to show more kindness & compassion for our fellow creatures. 😢 Because it's only a human's ego driven need to push their limits, forces these poor horses to the absolute limits of their endurance. Better we pull back the intensity and mileage to more comfortable levels for these pure creatures of God who only want to please us... 🙏🏻 🤲🏻 ❤🕊

Thank you ! I had never an own horse, but I feel much love for them because I saw often how much they tried to make something good in work for humans. But it often has confilicts because WE are not relaxed. If I realise that life is a gift of Universe and if I could stopp fighting....... the animals can also relax. Thank you very much for this lecture.

Too many people just learn the what without understanding the why. Seek to understand, not just do.
