Hey dirkey, i have in issue with my 808 where it sounds fine without a melody, but after i layer the 808 and the melody, it seems that the melody drowns out the 808. i tried adding distortion, eqing the low fq's from the melody out so it dosent clash with the 808s, and even after i mix my beats i still cant hear anything. when i started making beats, i could hear the 808 perfectly fine over the melody, but randomly one day, i couldnt hear it that well, idk why. ive tried everything, i reset fl studio, i installed fl on a bunch of other computers in my house and none of them had the same problem. do you think you know the answer to why fl is doing this? is so it would really help me out, this has been happening for 2 months and i havent produced since then cuz this issue is pissing me off. thank you in advance

What’s your grid size when making hi hat rolls like that. I always try to lengthen them out to that size to make it easier for me to do my rolls but I can never get it right. I’m wondering is it a specific length or snap to grid 😭🙏🏾.
