First song from their debut album. Got it on cassette when it came out and played it a lot. This song, Dreams in the Dark, and Winter's Call are probably my favourites by them.
I had the pleasure of seeing Badlands open for Great White and Tesla in the early 90's. Blew me away. Jake is an awesome guitarist. Also, saw him twice with Ozzy. If you want a real taste of his guitar work, Rumblin Train will give it to you. Also, Devils Stomp. Both off the first LP. Subscribed
@@fullmoonprepping4024 Honestly, I'm not sure. I saw so many concerts back then. It was either the Ice Palace, the Lakeland Civic Center or the long ago defunct Bayfront Center. I still have the ticket somewhere...with all my other ones.
Dancing On The Edge, off the first Badlands album is the song that will grab everyone's attention. The original studio version has to be heard first. Devil's Stomp is the second track off the album that really stands out
Such an underrated band. How the hell did bands like Poison and Warrant get more acclaim? Then again, Badlands formed when the metal scene was dying. I was 19 years old in 1990 and remember when this band and album came out. I was thinking that how refreshing it sounded compared to tired metal acts. Jake was always my favorite Ozzy guitarist and I was floored when I heard his fusion of metal and 'freak' blues. Reminded me of a modern, supercharged Hendrix. Thanks for posting and rock out🤙🤖🎸
Saw them in '89 opening for Tesla and Great White on their co-headlining tour. One of my favorite concerts ever.
And yes, Jake had epic hair.
i saw that show on the pier in NYC, badlands was killer
Winters Call & Seasons are fantastic Badlands songs
I have all three of the Badlands albums. This is a great metal/rock band . Totally underrated. R.I.P. Ray Gillen.
Jake is the best. Saw him with Badlands and that guy could solo all night and into the next day. Amazing guy to this day!

Every song on that album is great!
Saw Badlands in a club called The Button South in South Florida. We got there early so we could post up right in front of Jake. Incredible show.
First time I saw Jake E Lee was when he was with Ozzy. I was 13, it was the Bark Tour at the Cow Palace SF. He was badass!🤘🏾

You act like you're familiar with this band, but apparently you have no clue!!
