Badlands was a fantastic band and I'm so glad Sharon Osbourne fired Jake E Lee because for all we know Badlands may never of formed if he was still with Ozzie. Badlands have a number of great songs. Winters Call, Devils Stomp, Seasons, Show Me The Way and they even do a version of Fire and Rain by James Taylor and then there's the acoustic song called Voo Doo Highway that really shows off some of Rays vocals. Really miss this band, RIP Ray Gillen.

I turned 18 years old in 1989. Was always a fan of Jake E. Lee but not really a fan of Ozzys voice... so I'm glad he got fired in order to start Badlands. Thanks for the reaction... R.I.P. Ray Ray

me too just graduated high school in 89 just getting into meal after seeing GNR and Metallica on the AMA'S and Grammys. I remember buying their tape right after i got my first job love Dreams in the dark. i feel the band was over before they got started.

@@brianmcdonald7520 You're exactly right... came and went too quickly. I also feel that they should of been way bigger than a lot of bands that were mostly about image. Poison, Brittney Fox, post- 'Shout at the Devil' Crue, Winger and many others couldn't come close to the musicianship and live prowess of Badlands. Tesla got kinda big but I thought they should of been bigger and Dangerous Toys was a band that never got their due. 'Toys in the Attic' was a killer album and they only had minimal MTV rotation... never heard them on the radio. And then people say grunge came along and ended metal. Well, I believe metal committed suicide by becoming a one-trick pony. Who wants to keep hear formulated, cock-rock with vocalists like Vince Neil sounding worse and worse as their alcoholism got out of control? Not this guy 😁 Still miss the days of guitar heroes, shredding it up and dropping our jaws. 🤙🎸🤖
