Thank you so much for this video. My licenses are only 1.5 years old or so - located in S.E.Tenn. Sadly we NEVER get VHF UHF transmissions from the Georgia side of of the mountains, unless they are coming off of the ISS repeaters. ISS repeater time is nearly always very “piled up” - but - interesting. Keep it up! KQ4IXD
love that radio. I have the 897d Wish one or more of the big name radio companies would make a military styled radio all band all mode with a handle like this again. We need more rugged built stuff for pota sota types and for field use.
This was neat to see. A few of us have talked about a 2m simplex net in our area.
Simplex is fun and good practice for when repeaters aren’t working
