Hahahahaha! The Enterprise flew by Sky9 and the moonbase interceptors as if they weren't even there. Exemplary imagination. I enjoyed it immensely.

I can only imagine how interesting Skydiver's gun-cam footage would've been, especially if the resolution was good enough to make out the name and Starfleet registry number of the Enterprise. =^[.]^=
Sky1 never got within cannon range - there would be a good chance the cameras might not get turned on automatically for a missile salvo - but if they had good film to review the English markings on the very large UFO would be rather perplexing to say the very least - 🛸👽✨

UFO. Good quirky fun! Sadly, the series potential was unfullfilled. The studio used to film the series burned down. Prior to a second season. The hit series lost it's momentum, ratings, and audience demographic. Due to delays in reconstructing the studio, accompanying sets, and sound stages. With resultant cancellation of the series. Although, the Andersons demonstrated their surprising range. Including, the effective use of miniature sets interspersed with live actors. Very impressive! Especially,since the Andersons had exclusively worked with stop motion, marionettes, and set miniatures. In their previous productions like "Thunderbirds."
Mark, it lives on with us! Our responsibility to grow the Fandom!

Kirk and Spock walk in on Gay Ellis while she's changing. She quickly dismisses Kirk and asks Spock for a tour of Enterprise. Spock & her have the forbidden kiss, while Kirk is stuck drinking Romulan Ale with Scotty, Straker, and Alec. Sulu decides he must take an unauthorized interceptor flight and has to down a UFO. The aliens capture Chechov who decides to do a moonwalk. They put a crustacean that crawls into his ear, causing him to scream. Somehow a Tribble gets onto Moon base and the girls mistake them for loofahs. They get packed and accidentally wind up getting into every Shado vehicle, including Sky 1, that accidentally fires one at an alien ship. The Tribble make their way to the alien planet, and the aliens contact Earth to surrender.
Nice blending. Star Trek would've been no match for the UFO typology and technology IMHO. SHADO was kewl, but it can't hold a match to ST: TOS.
indeed 23rd century Trek tech is way beyond 1980 UFO capabilities - the moonbase interceptors would need a direct hit with their one off nukes but their aim sucks - Enterprise is not going to fight back against humans from the past or anybody with such primitive tech - 🛸👽✨
@@FandersonUfo Actually, their computers controlled the aiming, from what I remember. The pilots were given plotting coordinates and they let their rockets fly. Despite all the differences, both were enjoyable to watch, esp Gay; she was like balm for sore eyes during the filming of the show.
@@itzcaseykc - indeed the computers calculated the missile trajectories but I always assume the human pilots have to align their interceptor properly for the shot as the missile has no active homing or inflight course correction - they seem to miss a lot even with the help of mainframe computation - ✨

They just did. nt travel in time but an alternative dimension, since Shado moon base became moonbase Alpha and we know what happened after that in 1999.
excellent interpretation of what happened to Enterprise - in regards Moonbase Alpha - indeed the 1999 Moonbase was intended for another season of UFO:1999 but UFO ratings were declining so the preproduction costs for season 2.0 of UFO were applied to season 1.0 of something called SPACE:1999 - there is no continuity or connection between either show and they exist in separate universes - 🛸✨

@@jamescampbell39 - you may not be aware sir that the new moonbase set was intended originally for a second season of UFO - UFO ratings in US were not strong enough so the newly built sets were repurposed for an entirely new show called SPACE:1999 - Moonbase Alpha has nothing to do with SHADO moonbase - they are separate disconnected storylines - 🛸✨
