even if it is, People can be harsh on it and some just might be because they dont like it period. I like this anime and found no problems watching and enjoying it at the time, but now looking at it, there might have been better ways to tell the story or better way to portray and develop the characters when the season aired. I always wonder about it if it actually had a longer season of episodes, how could it be improved or designed better? e.g. instead of drag-rides, its more like drag-armour with visual effects on top of it ... imagine how the animation might look like.
