You should be cut your hair sir after that you you will look better I think I think I think you are a Illuminati but lesson is so good very very very good
There is another term Troy Grady came up with for escape motions calling it Pick Slanting. It's definitely worth looking up to understand a little better, then come back and do these exercises.
I'll second that! To anyone, looking for tips for improving his/her picking technique, Troy's channel is really the first stop on your journey. Exercises like this make sense only after one has learned about Escape Motions (pick slanting). At least, that's how I see it. For most of us. Of course, you may be one of those "naturals", who find the "right technique" all by themselves. If that's the case, more power to you.
what's this? promotion? I went watched couple long ass video where he just promotes his course saying ZERO about the actual technic. That's not how things are done mate. Dirty stuff in my opinion. Even if the content itself is good, this is not the way to get attention. Neither by your comment, nor by his videos, which are just a promotion of courses that will magically help you. Like I said even if it works I would never go for this cheap ass promotions, as 99% of them is a scam. If you (he) want to do it right - do it like Bernth. Give some ACTUAL content for free showing the quality and give the OPTION to go deeper if they like. But don't give NOTHING and promise EVERYTHING once you go do something. Bullshit.
PS. fun fact - scrolled through couple more videos of him and he just fucking talks all the time. Does he even have a guitar? Does he play or have a demonstration by the other guy playing? Cause you can't teach guitar with just talking and not showing anything. Also talking not about the technic itself, but just about how awesome it is, but never showing it.
Hey, the exercise is great. I just think that if the exercise is about pick technique. It would be better to point the camera to see the movement of the pick on the strings. This way, you can basically only see the hand on the fingerboard, but you can't see how the pick moves on the strings. It's just my opinion.

I'm sorry🙏 I'll look better next time

For the germans out here, there is a video called "pickwinkel" from bernd kiltz.
Check that out.
Bernths concept seems to work as well😊.

@@bissekerskij thank you social justice warrior for the laughs
This might be in the top 5 lessons yet. Bernth, we need more short repeatable scale patters like this please!!!

Thanks so much man! You have been my electric guitar teacher for the past 2 years, and your content has helped a lot! 🤘
What a great workout! I'm already struggling at 60bpm
Update: 2 days into this and finally made it up to 70bpm
I'm going to try this today! 🤘🎸
Im going to take up a membership once my life has settled down a bit, I bought the T-shirt! 😂😂❤
The problem is that most people including myself, just cant alternate pick fast on only 1 string, for example 160 bpm sixteenth notes or higher.
Is it 1 triplet per beat or 2 triplets per beat? If 2 , would I count triple let triple let during every beat or is there a better way to count this ?
Check out the taka dimi system for counting. I like to use it for faster subdivisions.
Awesome workout, thank you so much 👍🏻🫂
at 70bpm I completely lost all hand synchronization. Apparently the picking isn't my issue, it's the speed.
27 minutes ago is crazy

I made it!!!
It wasn't a pick, it was a scratch!
