RIP the three members of Badfinger Pete Ham (April 27, 1947 - April 24, 1975), aged 27 Tom Evans (June 5, 1947 - November 19, 1983), aged 36 Mike Gibbins (March 12, 1949 - October 4, 2005), aged 56 You will be remembered as legends.
This song is evergreen, it sounds as good today as it did in my teen days. You just have to sing, move and reminisce to this masterful piece of art. Evergreens never lose their leaves, timeless pieces like this are never forgotten they mature like fine wine. Love these guys and thanks for the memories ❤️🕊
The deeper cuts from their albums are better than their hits. I was in college in the summer of 1972 and had Straight Up quite a bit. That album was solid start to finish.
What a gem of a video. This is actually live - no lip sync. I always thought there was a grinding Hammond in the mix being played through a Marshall amp and a Leslie cab similar to the Steve Winwood's cranking Hammond B3 on "Give Me Some Lovin". It appears it was one of the two guitars rigs set up that way. AMAZING...
I'm 74 loved all these songs we never had all these videos etc where do they come from all we saw was them on top of the pops on a black and white TV records cost less than a pound lol x😂
My favourites from Pete Ham/Badfinger were and still are the folwg songs with his superlative lead vocals: 1. Without You 2. Day After Day 3. Baby Blue 4. No Matter What
Looking forward to seeing Joey Mulland's Meetings this Saturday night November 11, 2017 at the Newton Theatre in Newton,NJ. A great band with immense talent and great music!

What a great band! They passed all so young.😞
Could and should have been one of the worlds greatest bands ,taken from us much to soon .
These guys were way ahead of their time. So many bad breaks happen to these guys, but still today we have their incredible music.

Isn’t TH-cam wonderful?! These guys simply ROCKED!
Out of respect , this is the first tune I've learnt on my Acoustic (65 y.o.)
Rest easy boys .
You rot Polley .
Rotting in hell for sure
Badfinger were able to synthesize all Beat bands music into a whole thing...like certain Northern groups but not exactly...very talented.
Should be in the Hall of Fame. Truth.
So under appreciated man
Best era of music!
THIS is how a pop band should sound!!!!!!!!!!
This is so good it's nuts. They really nailed this.
My favorite group with great songs I love them!
These guys make me proud to be Welsh!
What a tune a tune, that note by Evans at 2:03 wow

Vocals are live, the instruments are from the recording.
@@akbarlebowitz8151Yep
Bro. You are originally right it’s a Hammond
I have no idea what you said but bands used to be talented like Badfinger.
I'm 74 loved all these songs we never had all these videos etc where do they come from all we saw was them on top of the pops on a black and white TV records cost less than a pound lol x😂

Joey Mulland's Badfinger...
サイコー
The lead singer reminds me of Javier Gerardo Milei of Argentina.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think just the vocals are live
I still have the 45.

Great group but poor souls
No one is playing guitar when the song starts...
Seems like just the vocals are live.
They aren't playing live.
Miley si fuera basado:
Sounds a lot like the Beatles
The Beatles signed Badfinger, and produced this song. Paul wrote a song for them "Come and get it".
6.1k ? ? Dudes : wtf ?
