mayur reddy this comment is kind of underwriting the role of sivagami, it's a pretty important female character to Indian cinema and she killed it nonetheless. Her specifically, playing sivagami, took the movie to a whole new level. It's just because this movie is so big everything about it will be remembered nonetheless. She's been around for a long time, there's lots of fans who know about her other performances.
I agree. But actually down south, she'll be always remembered for Padaiyappa; Her role in Baahubali has created waves across the entire nation :) So they're both cult characters I guess

The incredibly beautiful and talented Ramya Krishnan and she could be of my mom's age or older but she is making me conceptualize such wild thoughts in my mind with her overpowering beauty instead. I'm a very huge fan of Ramya Krishnan since my childhood. The very first film that I watched in theater was "Amman" (Tamil version of Ammoru) even before Kindergarten. I've been desperately waiting for her interviews like these from her and thanks to Baahubali for putting her in international light, which she deserves very much! :-) Lotsa love Ramya Mam! :-) Good that things have become great again for her for her next powerful re-entry to make her all-time-superstar-of-Indian-Cinema. She must become so busy again which should force her out of Tamil TV soaps immediately. Forget the male actors here in the context of superstar for god's sake! Her interviews (voice especially) are feast to watch!!

The role of the strong Rajmata Shivgami Devi is in such a contrast to the soft-spoken lady in this interview. It is difficult to believe that she is the same who played the role of Rajmata. She did it brilliantly.

Actually I visited south India and north India but south more culturally rich and their women have a personality as well their eyes have a inner beauty which cannot be explained but northern girls are white but I don't find attractive.
Are you from Mars? There are white (??), black, and in between colored women in all parts of India (may be except north-east). North is mostly black as well, take a camera, go to any provincial town or village in north India and take a random snap of people, you will realize this. All colors are God-made, and all beautiful.

South India is more educated. In Kerala, for eg there was matriarchal system till 1950s. Women are more emancipated there
