This song is a masterpiece in so many different levels. Not only musically, but also because it makes you think. And understand that how I understand things in the song and the video, may mean something totally different to people from other cultures and back grounds. And it`s all right. And despite all the differences, people are basically the same all over the world. We all love our children and wish them better than what we had, we are all worried about what kind of world we`re leaving for them. Dimash no inspira celos sino la voluntad de hacerlo aún mejor para aquellos que tienen un mínimo de inteligencia. Es una fuerza motriz para la buena voluntad, incluso vi que inspiró a la gente a aprender a cantar cuando nunca lo habían pensado antes de conocerlo. Para los que duden, pues que mal por ellos, seguro que piensa que nos fuimos a la luna jejeje, pero no que Dimash sea la perfección en tema de voz. Creo que uno mismo define el objetivo, y eso es lo que hace que sienta temor; temor, porque después de estar sumido en esa tristeza... ¿Quién lo libera a uno? No digamos que la misma canción, porque de principio a fin cuenta del dolor, del sufrimiento y de la angustia, pero el personaje nunca hallô la ayuda necesaria. Si contextualizo todo, diría que Dimash no es humano a la hora de transmitir esta historia y su forma de cantar de muchas de sus canciones. ¡Es cosa de otro mundo! ¿En dónde está el otro mundo? y, ¿de dónde viene este joven?.

You are also right that that was a sacred tribal expression native to Kazakhstan. The word "OM" is a Mantra and is said to be the essence of the Supreme Absolute. You are right Sir. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Dimash interweaves the past and the present, the ancient and the modern, throughout this work. Alluding to more contemporary music, with the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony to be achieved by erasing our differences and giving up our identities. The world is complex, cultural roots run deep, and people experience life quite differently across the globe. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must find common ground while respecting our differences and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. As the hymn goes: "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me." Dimash is a very spiritual person, so using the symbols and sounds of the major world religions is fitting for this work. For those who do not subscribe to any faith tradition, I want to mention Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s latest book “Starry Messenger” where this agnostic scientist calls for the need to develop a cosmic perspective along with the rationality of science to solve the intractable human conflicts that so often lead to war. It is on that HIGHER ground - be it in religion, humanism, or science - that we can find COMMON ground.

Masterpiece is the only description that does this performance justice. It’s definitely Dimash’s best work, especially the end is heart wrenching. I see the connection you’re trying to make with the Jesus figure, and there may be some references to that, but this is about religions coming together, all religions are depicted in the video, Dimash himself is Moslim btw.
I agree about Earth Song!! I do not think it's a coincidence. Another person from a reaction channel noticed that the chords from Earth Song first appear at the same time the lyrics mention John Lennon's "Imagine". I think it's an intentional tribute.

Он буквально спас меня, его песни помогли не ожесточиться сердцем, не возненавидеть, не загореться гневом и желанием мести... Это ценно, очень, это просто жизненно необходимо оказалось в тот момент, я даже в подвал при воздушной тревоге не убегала, просто одевала наушники, включала Димаша, и училась у него Любви, которая рождается в сердце и покрывает собою всё… дай Бог нам всем научиться этому, и не будет войн . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

After this song, Dimash left us completely upset and even confused and sad, then plunged us into darkness, and immediately broke into another new song specifically for Spanish-speaking audiences. This allowed the whole public to sweep away the amazement, and to admire in joy. Dimash chooses to "speak" crudely, but does not leave us in distress. And the next day, Dimash performed for a "meeting" in a room in front of an audience of 7000 people, including myself. This song is a masterpiece in so many different levels. Not only musically, but also because it makes you think. And understand that how I understand things in the song and the video, may mean something totally different to people from other cultures and back grounds. And it`s all right.
And despite all the differences, people are basically the same all over the world. We all love our children and wish them better than what we had, we are all worried about what kind of world we`re leaving for them. At the end of the day, there are more things that unites us than there are things that separates us. At least, that`s what I`d like to believe. Thank you for the reaction.

Dimash no inspira celos sino la voluntad de hacerlo aún mejor para aquellos que tienen un mínimo de inteligencia. Es una fuerza motriz para la buena voluntad, incluso vi que inspiró a la gente a aprender a cantar cuando nunca lo habían pensado antes de conocerlo. Esto es impresionante; cómo la interpretación de una historia mueve las vibras y las fibras del interior del ser consciente.
Esa almagama de sucesos, la manera de transmitir los sentimientos, la voz exquisita y sin causar ningún daño a la interpretación, es cosa de otro mundo. A decir verdad, con esta canción y la forma de transmitir de Dimash, hace que sienta miedo, porque no sé si uno se libera o se ata. Esta canción lo deja a uno sumido en una profunda tristeza y el corazón tiembla, los ojos lloran y el alma gime. ¿Cuál es el objetivo de esta canción? Creo que uno mismo define el objetivo, y eso es lo que hace que sienta temor; temor, porque después de estar sumido en esa tristeza... ¿Quién lo libera a uno? No digamos que la misma canción, porque de principio a fin cuenta del dolor, del sufrimiento y de la angustia, pero el personaje nunca hallô la ayuda necesaria.
Si contextualizo todo, diría que Dimash no es humano a la hora de transmitir esta historia y su forma de cantar de muchas de sus canciones. ¡Es cosa de otro mundo! ¿En dónde está el otro mundo? y, ¿de dónde viene este joven?.

You are also right that that was a sacred tribal expression native to Kazakhstan. The word "OM" is a Mantra and is said to be the essence of the Supreme Absolute. You are right Sir. It is subtitled "Requiem” to commemorate and mourn all those who have died in war and in the struggle for peace, but it is also a vision for the future and a call to action to save ourselves and our world. Raised in an observant Muslim household, classically trained in music, educated in world and Kazakh history, and immersed in literature and folklore, Dimash has a deep understanding of sacred music and the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as ancient traditions, so it is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
Dimash interweaves the past and the present, the ancient and the modern, throughout this work. Alluding to more contemporary music, with the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony to be achieved by erasing our differences and giving up our identities. The world is complex, cultural roots run deep, and people experience life quite differently across the globe. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must find common ground while respecting our differences and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way.
Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. As the hymn goes: "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."
Dimash is a very spiritual person, so using the symbols and sounds of the major world religions is fitting for this work. For those who do not subscribe to any faith tradition, I want to mention Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s latest book “Starry Messenger” where this agnostic scientist calls for the need to develop a cosmic perspective along with the rationality of science to solve the intractable human conflicts that so often lead to war. It is on that HIGHER ground - be it in religion, humanism, or science - that we can find COMMON ground.

Masterpiece is the only description that does this performance justice. It’s definitely Dimash’s best work, especially the end is heart wrenching. I see the connection you’re trying to make with the Jesus figure, and there may be some references to that, but this is about religions coming together, all religions are depicted in the video, Dimash himself is Moslim btw.
