Same here! I've always found it odd that ppl take the figures out the package and then toss the box. I mean to each their own, it's all about that sweet sweet box for me. Figures go right in the trash.

From what I recall, Casey Jones is pretty high-strung. So it makes sense that he does not have relaxed hands because he never relaxes. Like a Repo Man, Casey is always intense

Yeah, the 2023 release of this set has slightly updated/improved colors on Casey and the Foot...and the Foot has the new ball hips and ankle rockers where the original did not. If I remember right.

Having just got a Leatherhead/Slash box and a Bebop/Rocksteady box, I can definitely feel a difference in the plastic of the figures. Treating those 4 with kid gloves. LOTS of heat before bending. Picked up this Casey reissue and had no problems. Really hoping there are more reissues on the way.

The foot soldier has a bendy wire. It’s the piece that connects the torso with the lower half.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed according to a few people who pose them in two pieces (like having the new Napoleon Bonafrog ripping a foot soldier in half), the wire slides out and can slide back in- and be replaced if necessary. Your mileage may vary, it's just from a couple replies to my questions on FB TMNT forums.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed really? You might have to heat his ankle joints to where he can keep his balance and once he's in that position hit his ankles with cold water should fix your problem

As someone that has non-busted up foot soliders, I had been waiting for them to re-release this busted up one, as I really like what it adds to a fight scene with the turtles.

The only back clash is that they cost more than 300 USD right now.
Another down part is there is NO traces of any "new" figures, like Sack, The Turtle gang, New April etc. 😕
I hope they rerelease them so you don't have to pay so much!
Wise move taking the Casey head off to put his bag on his back. I saw many a figure reviewer, when this originally released a few years back, who ended up breaking the strap on the bag by trying to put it on Casey’s back without removing his head first!

don't really need the foot soilder, hoping they do an ultimate casey at some point. Don't need the one in a suit either.
I can feel that
5:27 They use a figure picture of the character if a figure has been made of it, and then the digital render picture when it's of a character that hasn't been made. I get why they do it that way, it's to give the image a more lifelike look, as if it's a three-dimensional action figure. But clearly they're not going all out with making those images look like action figure pics; but at least they put a little effort in going that route as opposed to a straight up (screen grab) drawing.
*I think it also has a bit to do with consistency. Like if it was me in charge, I would've started from the get-go with putting toon images on those communicators. But since that's not how they rolled, they had to keep on making them somewhat blend in with the previous stuff......cause as hardcore as we've gotten, I'm pretty sure we're not gonna get a figure like the _Handsome Anchorman._

I agree with you, even he appears in 4 or 5 episodes from the cartoon (wich is much more than most of the secondary charachters), the movie Casey Jones, Elias Koteas, has much more impact on my memories than this version of the cartoon.

This set is extremely necessary. I have the busted guy standing behind other foot soldiers since he looks taller. With the Alpha 1 head. I had to use Vernon pointing hands so he can touch the fingers to the temples move from the show that ZERO foot soldiers come with

I did buy them when they first came out. It's a cool set. I'm glad they rereleased it for people just starting out with the line. I found the original Casey Jones at a Acme Super Center.

7:31 Maybe a piece of rebar? The shape's a bit off since it would be a straight piece rather than being tapered like that, but the cross pattern makes me think rebar, and that would definitely hurt if you got hit with it, so I can see Casey keeping one in his bag.

I mean, between this pack and the April one, that's the first time we see it, but it's included with Mondo Gecko since he uses it in his first episode. I just thought you had Mondo (even though there's no video evidence to support my assumption), cause he's such an iconic & cool character. And even with the upcoming _fucking amaaaazing_ Archie Mondo, you still need a toon one. Let me pray to the toy gods to make it happen 🙏🏻

So,I was thinking about buying Neca for my little sister to play with.And I wanted to ask is if they're easy to break,cause my sister doesn't play hard like slamming thoose together but she plays really gentle. She got into TMNT like 6 months ago and her birthday is in 2 weeks,and thats why I'm asking
NECA is more for collecting, if she's young she might gravitate to the new Turtle products coming out for the new movie so I'd definitely start there

They are great, but their price isn’t ideal and I think eventually would break apart with constant playing
Besides that goalie stick looking like you just drew the shape with a pen on some white foam board and cut it out, the thing I never liked is how small NECA made Casey. I'm sure there's frames where Casey isn't all that big (since all that was so inconsistent), but overall, Casey was a beast on the show. Like if only he was a quarter of an inch or so taller, and a bit bulkier, he'd be perfection. Regardless, I'm still fine with 5'7" skinny arms and legs Casey.

I got this 2 pack on it's initial release & it cost me $70 CDN 😂. Love the set anyways though. Casey Jones was only in 5 episodes of the The Original 1987 TMNT Cartoon
@Mike_Fahmy Everybody keeps saying the 1987 tv series however initially the series would not premiere until October of 1988. The mini series which was basically the pilot movie aired in 5 parts in syndication in December 1987. Casey Jones didn't make his debut until season 3 episode 23 in October of 1989. 🐢🍕🎭🏏🌆

Me too! I never managed to get them and had to settle for the bootlegs from AliExpress. I would definitely replace them with the official ones if I could get them though as my Rocksteady has seriously wonky eyes! Neca are releasing "Ultimate Editions" of the four Toon Turtles, so hopefully they reissue some of the other earlier figures too. I bet Shredder would do well as an updated ultimate.

I got the original release and you van bend the hell out of that footsoldier without breaking. You can also pose him with the big gun so the battle-damage isn't that noticable if you put him more in the background
