Ellen and Luke are joined on the purple sofa by Mike and Jane, for embarrassing praise and fond recollections of their most beloved Oxtra presh mems. I remember these as well
I remember when Ellen said she'd never played mousetrap..the viewers said play mousetrap. That happened and the video was so popular that Andy asked if there were any other tabletop games that we would like to see, in 2nd place was the dark souls board game. The clear winner though was dungeons and dragons. There was a special one off adventure which didn't feature Mike as egbert. This led to another adventure uploaded Christmas 2017. Due to how popular these adventures were there was a one off live show in February 2018. It sold out so quickly that the oxventurers guild became a live show staple.
And all because Ellen said "ive never played mousetrap".
Bet she never predicted where that statement would lead.
I am proud to say that I was one of the commenters they showed that asked them to play Mousetrap. I believe it was that video that led to the inception of Oxventure and their other ventures into more non-videogame contents.
What an unlikely and labyrinthine chain of cause and effect. And also _Mousetrap._
Look at Luke trying to escape the Kingdoms of Amalur 24hr stream. We haven't forgotten Westaway! Get the stream going!!!! Jokes aside well done guys! You 100% deserve it and more! Here's to 2M!

Favourite memory has to be Luke giving Ellen overcooked scenarios and asking her how she would deal with them. Andy joining in off camera “Do you want me to start a fire?” and Ellen barely controlling her rage still makes me laugh to this day.

@@KizuRai Ha, god yes, even thinking about it makes me laugh, Not only that, but after Ellen says “Please move” and Luke just moves, look at Ellen’s eyes when she turns to camera - she has the crazed look of someone who was (as you said) just seconds away from strangling Luke :)

@@MSte21 I can’t remember the Show of the Weekend ep number, but the whole sequence was used in “Show of the Weekend - 15 best bits of 2018 (the sequence start from about the 10 minute mark).
Outside Xtra might be the first (and only) TH-cam channel that I followed from its inception to its eventual 1 million subscribers milestone!

When Luke left working by my side to go and start Outside Xtra I was rightly furious at his rampant disloyalty, but it's been a genuine pleasure to see everything he -- and the team -- have done and this incredible milestone could not be more deserved. Here's to the next 'mil!
Employers getting furious about somebody leaving for another opportunity is never right, however "betrayed" you might victimize yourself out to be, so jot that down. It's a job.

The funniest and probably one of the most iconic moments on this channel is when Luke fired an arrow into the back wall of the set using Ellen's Merilwen Bow. I cannot imagine how he told Andy, (if he ever did) considering all the other shenanigans they've done of the years... None of which damaged life, limb or property up until that point. Congrats on 1M! Here's to another 1M more!
Favorite moments: 1. Westaway Gambit (Ik it was a livestream w/other channels but watching it from Luke's POV is best.) 2. Garfield Stream aka Luke's decent into Madness. 3. Talking Tom Racing

The entire cat game series with Ellen had to be my favorite in recent memory. She was so happy.
I found Oxtra (and Oxbox) when I was going through a hard time a month or so before quarantine started, and I think it was the Animal Crossing streams that really cemented my love and admiration. Remember when Luke caught a string fish?
It was so good! I particularly liked the animal crossing concert for that time. :-)
Hope things are better and more manageable.
Blades in the dark reunion special would be cool, just a one off episode to see what everyone has been up to.

Congratulations, thanks for all the presh mems. So I think Luke playing Kingdoms of Amalur all the way through is how this deed should be celebrated.
Hard choice but I think my single favorite moment on Outside Xtra was Ellen sneaking up on Luke in Death Loop and waiting for him to turn around and do a giant cartoon scream before blowing him away at point blank range.
My greatest celebration wish: more Gravity RIP!
While reminiscing just remember that if Luke hadn't googled the lethal dose of cinnamon in 2015 the channel may have been very different.

My favorite moment was when Kippers was doing the master of magic run and Luke decided to let himself be arrested but hadn’t learned lock picking so couldn’t get out then had to reload his save to the very beginning. Ellen saying how mad he looked was priceless

For me the Mario Golf Ninji lore is the best, closely followed by Luke visiting Ellen on Easter in Animal Crossing.
I can't believe the new channel is over 6 years old. It launched at a really tough time for me and I've never really recovered from it, so seeing how long it's been is an eye opener. The 5 of you are fantastic and fully deserving of the successes you have enjoyed. I hope that you continue to grow and get to do whatever it is you love the most until you've decided enough is enough.

My favourite Show of the Weekend was when Andy had to fill in for Ellen but she had left them all of her plans for the video so Andy is like a substitute teacher who doesn’t understand the material he is teaching. It’s all about Kingdom Hearts and Luke ends up drawing what Donald Duck would look like in Bambi’s forest and they laugh so hard. I miss Ellen in the video but her spirit is definitely there.

I love all the bits with yellow subs. Either Andy wandering in or Jon(?) having a face-palm moment behind the camera. Which ofcourse Ellen & Luke react to, and the video spirals to delicious, delicious chaos. Second best is the times they have dragged other outsiders in as guests or replacements.
Ellen's animal crossing villagers wiping the floor with Luke's was amazing, damn that cute squirrel, and Luke's yoshette that was indeed not Andy's shette. My absolute fave moments. Oh and estate agent Ellen procuring a nice safe treehouse away from guard's eyes for kippers to hideaway, immediately before opening the door to a guard arresting you. Congrats on 1M, not bad for a normal adult man and the best dancing Pikachu with the best laugh

Some of my favourite Presh Mems are the adventures of Kippers, the SOTWE crafting/drawing challenges, as well as the Animal Crossing streams during the lockdown. Kippers’ Rocket boots is as classic as Luke accidentally finding the frost giant and giving away his whereabouts to a guard likely by firing his arrows 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 And Ellen being Ellen having most likely still her biggest laughing fits to date especially with the latter is the icing on the cake 😅
CONGRATS GUYS!! My highlights will probably always be the Kippers the Kajhiit videos. Getting arrested at his hideaway, his rocket boots, chickens vibrating at lightning speed...
